A Certain Magical Sunset - Call for pre-readers! Yay! · 11:03pm Nov 4th, 2021
So, progress! The first draft of book one, A Certain Magical Sunset, is almost ready for pre-readers. I am just putting in a dozen more interludes, then it is complete. It should be ready for pre-readers early tomorrow, or tomorrow evening. Update All chapters are done and it’s ready for reading.
Anyone interested in pre-reading this gem please DM me or leave a comment here. The story is currently in a gdoc, available online with an invitation. It's currently about 380 pages at 147K words.
I'd be especially grateful to hear from you if you have some exposure to the world of A Certain Magical Index, A Certain Scientific Railgun, and A Certain Scientific Accelerator and their associated mangas, to keep me honest in the crossover. That said, anyone interested in pre-reading and commenting is more than welcome.

So the first round of prereading went of well. And...
It's clear I have some changes to make.
While the prereading was going on, I have been working on the sequel and am a few hundred pages into that.
So based on the comments, and the events coming to light in the sequel, I am going to be adding some chapters and fleshing out some of the others in the rewrite. I'm really trying to make this story a page turner you don't want to put down. We'll see if the talent lives up to the ambition.
Expect another round of prereads after that. Though if anyone wants to comment on the gdocs as I go, you are more than welcome to come join our merry little group.
