Hey everyone! I wanted to say Happy Halloween to you all, so if you've got Trick Or Treating to do, I hope you have fun with that, wearing costumes, watching scary movies, etc. I'll admit, I had a Halloween esque story planned for this month, but real life kept rearing it's ugly head, so there's a 100% chance it's going to be late. I still want to work on it, I still want to show you guys that I'm not stopping my work, I'm just... falling behind much harder than I ever was.

I do want to reassure you guys, I'm not gonna stop writing, I don't ever wanna stop, it's just... *sighs*. I'll admit, I've been hitting some struggles here and there. But I'm not about to give up, I promise. So just to show you all that I'm still working, here's a snippet of what I've been working on.

"Can I have a hug?"
"Oh of course," Sunset said, pulling her friend in for an embracing hug. And in seconds, Pinkie went from softly whimpering into a wailing mess behind her head. Tears were flying off her face, and it only sounded worse. Sunset frowned as she held her friend close, rubbing her back all the while.
"It's okay... it's okay..." Sunset whispered.
"I just can't believe it shut down. All these years, I thought one day I could go back and try the rides that the bigger kids got to, but now I can't! It was my favorite paaaarrrrkkk!" Pinkie sobbed.
"So, there's no tragic accident that made it shut down, it just... was forgotten?" Rainbow asked.
"That's even woooooorse!" Pinkie cried.
"Debatable..." Rainbow muttered quietly.
The Rainbooms felt their heartstrings tugged. They couldn't bare to see Pinkie, or any of their friends this heartbroken.
"Darling I'm so sorry... is there anything we can do to help you?"
"I... I don't knowwwww!" Pinkie blubbered.
"Hey, I got an idea! What if we all go and visit the park? I know it's abandoned and all, but what if we snuck in so you can take a look. For old memory's sake," Sunset suggested.
"Sunset, you do realize that's basically breaking and entering?" Twilight raised a brow.
Sunset sighed. "Yes, I know. But come on, Twilight. Urban explorers check places out like these all the time. We'll look for guards, and if we don't see any, we go. If there are, then we don't. We'll be in, and out. Fair enough?"
Twilight didn't like the sound of breaking into a park that'd been long abandoned. But at the same time, she knew there would be no stopping Sunset from going there herself.
"Oh... alright."
"What do you say Pinkie? We go in so you can see the place one more time and finally get some closure," Sunset asked.
