Hey guys and gals and whatever else have you. This is more or less an update on my status of things. The past month and a half have been very taxing of late.
My father's health took a turn and things have had to be adjusted at home as a consequence. To make a long story short, there was a wound he had that got infected, sent him to hospital, had surgery done, and he is now unable to walk without help of a walker or wheelchair. I've been working not just my full time shifts at work, but also helping at home to adjust to his new quality of life. The utter lack of time alone or free time in general has kept me from getting any stories done. I have a few in progress. But progress is slow.
I feel disheartened because I want to write and put material out. But sometimes I sit down and I feel utterly disconnected from the piece in front of me. I am trying to get myself out of this rut. I need to exercise again (something I had to stop due to said circumstances) and I may just have to force myself into doing even just 500 word little work bits each day to try and get something out. I also plan to participate in NaNoWriMo this year, outside of Fimfic, to try and help give me some of my spark back.
In summation: please forgive me for not answering messages and not posting anything since August. I am hoping to try and work through this stress and mental static and provide more stories for you all to enjoy. The constant stress and worry over friends and family all being sick takes it's toll, but I'm soldiering through it. Please stay safe, and take care of yourselves. I will try to set a goal for publishing at least one story in November, if not more. Until then.
