As someone who played Destiny 1.0 like mad for two months in an effort to feel like I had recouped the $60 I spent, I'm feeling rather nostalgic for the time that everyone just defaulted to blaming Activision for all of Destiny's problems.
Anyone else?
Because goddamn has Bungie got a fucking hard-on for sunsetting and vaulting paid content.
And please don't feed me the same bullshit that reddit does about "size limitations".
That's not the fault of paying customers.
Now they want to charge extra for dungeons if you don't buy the digital deluxe edition of their next expansion.
Again, this is the ONLY MMO that does this. And I sure as hell hope it doesn't become common.
I honestly quit destiny 2 about 2 seasons ago, cause they locked new content behind a 10 dollar paywall (read:battle pass), and i dont feel like spending 10 dollars every 3 months for a few new pieces of content
Destiny lost my interest when they hyped world building and lore... and then put most of it in writing on a website.
