    Hiatus status on the Godking

So I haven't posted something for about two weeks on the story. Three pages went missing, as the entire thing is electronic, and I didn't have backups, so I'm having to retype them all over again. Might have to push back to January, as this is taking a little

Is this chapter gonna be just the fight?

The chapter is now out, so you can see for yourself.

Veretus goes first and unsheaths his sword, Attacking with it after flying to Luna.

three attacks: result of 41 (crit), 29, 28

I'm no expert when it comes to 5E, but to achieve a result of 41 on an attack roll suggests that Veretus has a Strength of 30 (granting a +10 bonus), a +5 weapon (the normal limit, if I recall correctly, is +3), and a +6 proficiency bonus. Since +10 +5 +6 = +21, that would mean he rolled a natural 20 for that hit to be a crit, right?

If so, I'd say the stat blocks should be posted, since those would help place this in better context.

Veretus is a CR 30 creature as most greater deities with a statblock, and as such, has a +9 proficiency bonus.

5610502 I'd overlooked that creatures with a CR above 20 could have a higher proficiency bonus; thanks for pointing that out.

5610510
and while I can't share Veretus's as his statblock is part of the settingbook, I can post Luna's!
