Birthday

...you know? I love my birthday. I really do, honestly. I usually make it such a big deal it's obnoxious. But the last three years have been rough during this time. It's hard to feel like me today. It's hard to feel happy. Hard to do anything, let alone celebrate. But I'm going to focus on not having a BAD time over the next few days. I think I can do that much, and I think it's an achievable goal. I want to have a happy birthday, but I think that has to wait until next year.

This year, however, my lovely, wonderful friends are really trying to me. In about an hour, the Barcast guys are putting on a birthday party for me on twitch and discord. I love them so much. I am deeply grateful for it, and I'm going to do my best to be invested in it. And, as usual, you all are welcome to it. Genuinely. I may sound all doom and gloom, but I'm being honest when I say I'm going to make a real effort to at least be okay and indulge in whatever they have planned for me. I'm open to being pleasantly surprised. I think it could be fun for everyone that way.
