Factober #14 – Beetlejuice 🎃👻🪲🪱 · 5:00pm Oct 14th, 2021

Time for the "ghost with the most" to take the spotlight.

Tim Burton feared the "Day-O" sequence wouldn't go over well, since in his opinion it wasn't very funny. He turned out to be wrong: audiences loved it and think of it as one of the film's most iconic scenes.

On that note, the studio originally wanted to call the film "House Ghosts." As a joke, Tim Burton suggested the name "Scared Sheetless" and was horrified when the studio actually considered using it.

What about that hilarious scene where he gives out his qualifications? Specifically where he says "I've seen The Exorcist ABOUT A HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN TIMES AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT!!!!"

Loved the movie when I was a kid laughed my head off when beetle juice came and he never took anything seriously even when it came to the wedding lol

Like every line he speaks in that movie is iconic.

Which part was the day 0 though? I'll admit it's been a while since I've seen it.

"We come fer yer daughter, Chuck... VWAAA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAAAA!!!!!"
