Can't get through the spoopy time of year without visiting the family!

In the original Addams Family series (1964), Uncle Fester was Morticia's mother's brother, and his surname is unknown.

In the 90's movies and other subsequent interpretations of the same character, he is Gomez' brother, Fester Addams.

The old series is still kind of my favorite despite our being from well before my time. The older movies are great too though. I haven't seen the newer ones, they really didn't look like they'd capture those interesting characters that made the others so good.
