    Another eye-opener

Yesterday, I listened to a preaching from an LGBTQ+-affirming church via Facebook livestream. One of the things that the pastor said is something that I agree with. That there are Evangelical theological bullshit statements that one shouldn't say to those who are in pain and suffering.

    Those statements include:
    "God has a plan"
    "God has a reason"
    "God is in control"
    "It is God's doing"

    Something scary happened yesterday

My mom asked me if there was a package addressed to her, so I called the receptionist about it. Before I get a response from her, I heard a really loud thump.

See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya, Paycheck!

This is certainly a win for the animation industry. I honestly don't know if Iger would fix the 2-year mess, but at least Paycheck is no longer involved.

The hypocrisy of Disney in a nutshell · 1:08pm Oct 11th, 2021

Disney: We cancelled The Owl House because one of our executives think it doesn't fit our brand.

Also Disney: Shows a scene in Amphibia where Marcy Wu gets impaled in her chest by King Andrias with his laser sword

Welcome to the movie industry. John Carpenter expressed bemusement when The Thing was edited for TV broadcast, cutting out all the bad language but leaving the blood and gore intact.

As Paul Verhoeven put it, "It is easier to get a body riddled with bullet holes onto an American cinema screen than it is to get a body wearing no clothes onto one."

Pretty much sums it up.

Sometimes America is a very backwards place, sadly.

Family Guy is technically on Disney+ in certain countries. Nuff said.

Here in America, no one cares all that much if a pre-teen binge watches the Saw series but get ready for a tantrum if that same child sees a gay kiss.

Talk about skewed priorities.

This is Disney what do you expect?
