One Year Anniversary. · 6:00pm Oct 10th, 2021
It's been one year. One full year since my story: Yugioh Worlds Collide was published here on Fimfiction. And let me just say: Wow! To think back a year ago, I didn't fully believe myself that I was going to have this story reach that full year mark. I mean there were thoughts in my head of it happening, but it wasn't until I got closer to the date that I realized I actually made it. And at the same time, it feels like a full year has passed. You know they say time flies when you're doing something and that is none more truer than with this story. I remember working on this story every single day for the past year, sometimes waking up early on my days off of work to write chapters, sometimes after work and in between things, I would be working on this story. All so that I could provide you guys content and a tale to enjoy.
And I also didn't expect to get this many likes as I thought. When I first wrote this, I thought it might at least get 10 likes and that's it. And I was going to be content with that number. Then by the end of 2020, the story already had 20 likes, so then 2021 rolled around and I said, let's see if I can get 30 likes, and then by March of this past year, I had 30 likes. And now the goal is to see if I can get 40 likes, and so on... The point I'm trying to make is that each time I saw the number go up, it meant that my writing and story telling abilities put a smile on someone's face. As a writer that's the best thing to know is that your story telling was able to make smiles and give people a fun time. So for everybody that has enjoyed this story and left a like, to even putting in one of your folders. I thank you for giving me the chance to showcase my writing and story telling skills and hope that I at least made your day a bit better.
Anyways, thank you once again. And for those wondering by the time I'm writing this, the story is near the very end, from my count only 5 chapters remain which include an epilogue. So we're literally in the endgame for this story. So one last time, thank you everybody for reading my work, even just a simple sentence. It means so much. Thank you.
P.S. It was just a coincidence that my story was published on the same date that FIM premiered back in 2010. So it was not intentional, it just so happen that my story was approved and published on that date. A coincidence, which kinda fits things that happen in this story, since there's a lot of things that happen by coincidence.
If I am counting this right, it looks like the story would be a couple or so chapters away from 200 when the epilogue is posted.
