I dunno, honestly! I thought maybe my voice wasn't Smolder-y enough, but now that I'm out of my writing haze I think I am pretty satisfied with how it is right now. If I let myself fuss with it further I might have gone totally out of my way to show that Smolder was the speaker and ended up doing a little too much in the process.
