    Pretty Jackie

A quickie featuring everyone's favorite country pony. s/o Aquatic Vibes for the art - and ScandiBeats for the rhythm. Both provided a creative spark that led to this poem taking shape.

    I hardly knew you,
Then you really grew on me,

    Flooded and Drowned

Now for something rather dark and solemn. This depicts a scenario after Sunny Starscout gets in a violent physical altercation with ponies who betrayed her, is knocked unconscious, and thrown into the sea. Based off of AssasinMonkey's art, and inspired by Xhydralisk's comment on it. Paraphrased a few lines from his poem for the last three lines of

    Such a Beautiful World

I see tall trees of green,
    Bright berries too,
    I shall pick a few,
    For me and you,
    And I think to myself,
    Such a beautiful world…

    I look up and see,
    Amongst clouds of white
    Pegasi flying free,
    The earth ponies wave goodnight,
    And I think to myself,
    Such a beautiful world…

    The shapes of the cones
With ice cream sweet as pie,
    Are also on the heads,
    Of unicorns trotting by,

Hero to Zero - A Sprout Poem

With a cluster of coddling and egotistic incompetence,
Are the acts of a cult leader any coincidence?
I tried so hard to be a blind hero,
Now there's destruction, and I'm back to zero.

Emerging from the dust of chaos's aftermath,
Dismissed and exiled, now where is the right path?
Three tribes hug together as warmly besties,
As I'm drowning in the waters of my own insecurities.

A Letter and A Wish - A Sunny Starscout Poem

    Amidst the fear and division,
We hold fast to a mission,
An idea springs like a fish,
With a letter and a wish,
    To make friends peacefully,
    To communicate in harmony.

    You gaze,
As it floats up in the sky,
Held by a lantern so high,
    Through your little shining eyes,
We made a message of love to show,
Yet not knowing where it'll go.

Somewhere, in a forest far away,

My Little Pony G4 Poems · 4:35am Oct 9th, 2021

Here are a few poems I wrote during the production of a poetry book. I later decided to remove them from the book and publish them separately, as they are about G4 and thus would be difficult for the average joe to understand or "vibe with". Added some artwork for context.

"You're all Yak"

(C) Doodle-Mark

We’re jumping up and down hard,
Staring at each other’s eyes,
Love ain’t no longer a surprise,
Now that we’ve passed the ID card.

No worries about anything no more,
It’s like this whole life,
Been leading to this one night,
Just me and you on the dance floor.

Because this is the time,
To know I’m all pony,
And you’re all yak, not whichever.
No modelling or hair shine,
Only the joy, only the glee,
And dance forever, forever, ever.

"Celestia"

(C) Br0ny

Crown atop her head,
Extending her hooves of love.
Loving all her subjects,
Embracing her sister with forgiveness.
Sending her faithful student to learn,
The magic of friendship,
In the town of Ponyville,
Amazing she is as a kind-hearted ruler.

"The Dream-Walker"

(C) Hasbro

At night she awakens,
The daylight all but taken.

With a solemn smile, she lets it begin,
Her horn summoning the power within;

In an endless void, does she walk, prance, and trot,
Her eyes searching and scanning every dot,
Examining events inside, identifying needs of help,
Flickety-flick her ears go, scanning for a yelp.

In a moment she picks it up, a sad lonely cry,
A lost soul looking for answers, repeatedly asking why.
Into another void she ventures, a mission started,
For this is her duty, and her soul always bighearted.

Now in the bubble she stands, observing and watching,
The poor filly fleeing, frightful and dodging.
A fear manifested, in a form oh so ominous,
It’d consumed the little soul, controlling its very conscience.

Taking hold of the environment, she makes her voice known,
The fright and terror fading, but the source partly shown.
Why, the filly asks, can I not escape this possessive scare?
It is from within, dear, that such a spirit has a lair.

A yearn to obtain began with a hope,
‘Till it fully possessed you, held you by a rope.
Then you shot to an extreme, despising it with a burn,
As it took hold, giving false promises at every turn.
Here you stand and run, driven so crazy,
Tired and frustrated, vision rather hazy,
Now it’s disappeared yet it’s back in a wink,
Yet you never stopped to ever think.

The night’s getting cold as I speak,
The world so traumatic looking all bleak,
But now from my voice there’s a moment to ponder,
A chance to find a solution, in the wild black yonder.

Take my advice ‘cause I’m still here,
It might be tough, but facts don’t care,
There’s a reason behind the experiences you doubt,
But the heart wants it out, all out.

An array we can scan, gaze at all that you fear,
No thoughts to make it clear.
Always worrying about obtaining,
Realize now to focus on containing.

From containment comes patience,
Recession of anticipation,
Acceptance of destiny,
And internal bliss feeling heavenly.

For with self-love comes confidence,
And thereby lives the pride of difference.
No one will push you over, not even together,
‘Cause you got a tough mental tether.

Know that you are never alone,
Everyone else has got a clone,
A case of who is me,
A struggle of self-love and identity.

Take a look through doors,
And see them all do the same chores.
Struggles do they have,
Seemingly so unique, yet you share more than half.

Now it is on me to depart,
For there are more journeys I must start.
Begin yours when you wake,
Aided by insightful wisdom, which is yours to take.
