I really should try to keep this thing better updated... But here's a brief recap:
July and August went alright. CVG was awesome... I got lots of pins and neat swag. I also got an application in to work in the Body Shop at the Auction and did my interviews..... Only the General Manager for the auction put hiring on hold since there wasn't enough flow through the shop to justify hiring anyone at that time... BOO!!! BUT... Since both managers from Recon AND the recruiter that I had my phone interview with have all said they're keeping me appraised of the situation and when they'll be able to hire anyone, I've taken that as a sign that I'm hired as soon as the GM stops pinching pennies...
It doesn't hurt that one of the managers from Recon has said "I'll get you out of Security as soon as I can!" because of another development...
So due to the fact that my former boss (CL) kinda fucked shit up at both sites, corporate on both my company's side AND the auction's side decided to cut my site's hours/staffing... and in their infinite wisdom (/sarcasm), decided that the only employee that would have a mid-day shift (starting around 9-10a going to 5-6p) would be the site supervisor... Which, having the site supe be there during those times instead of 6a-2p DOES make more sense... but it means the shift I've had for four freaking years went out the effing window. So I was left with a choice... 6a starts 5 days/week, which would literally kill me since I'm the sort of person that's more comfortable going to bed at 0430 instead of getting up... or 2p starts 5 days/week, which tanks any after-work plans I might have because everything shuts down early thanks to the Plague...
Obviously, I chose death to after-work plans since I like not being physically ill for half the day.
I'm moving out of my apartment by the 15th of October into a very tiny one. I'm not as close to work as I am now, but it's in a nice area of town and I'm in an actual suburb instead of an exburb wearing suburb's clothing. I like the town I'm in, but I'm a ways out, and my new place is blocks away from a nice mall, a VERY nice library and a GORGEOUS park with lots of nice bike/walking paths in a very swanky area of town. How am I able to afford this? Because it's income restricted, and I fall WELL within the limits rn. Might be an issue when I get the new job and I have to renew the lease (if I do), but I'm sure it'll be okay.
Things with Hubby are still rocky, and he's still staying with his friend, but it's not unsalvageable yet... Emergency forcefields are holding, but engines are down, if that makes sense?
In other news, I've got a new addiction... I've discovered Fragrant Jewels, and OML... I don't wanna think about how much I've spent on them since May... 
BUT.. It's so worth it... and there are pretty rings in each candle/bath bomb/body scrub...
((eyes clock)) Crap... I'd better finish getting ready for work... Anyways...

Anyway, I'd say it's good to hear an update from you, but we talk a lot anyway on discord so xD
Sorry to hear things are still not going the best between the two of you and having work add stress isn’t going to be helping either. Glad to hear you are still working at repairing the relationship, too many give up too easily when things are tough. Hope the interview eventually bears fruit and that you get to transfer to work and hours which will suit you more.

I'm mostly fixating on the molehills I need to fix RIGHT NOW and CAN instead of looking at the entire mountain of SHIT I have to deal with at some point... Which unfortunately means that putting effort into repairing the relationship on the backburner, but not completely ignored... y'know?
But yeah... Eventually the job'll come through... the change from starting at 2p back to 7:30a will be less than pleasant, but I'm looking forward to my new apartment. :) Thanks for dropping the comment.
