September 2021 Short Update + Art · 6:01am Sep 28th, 2021
Hey y'all!
Been a while since I've done one of these. I'm not dead, I swear. Anyway, here's what's going on. Juggling two major things:
Metroid Ghosts of Harmony.
Progress has been a little slower than I'd like... considering the whole chapter is planned out and I just need to write the damn thing. But we're still going here! No plans of stopping and I love what's being planned at the moment. Looks like everyone reading seems to like it too, so I'm thrilled!
My Best Friend Stella Bonus.
The word count grows bigger and bigger in this steamy sex scene. I'm hoping to finish this one FIRST before the next metroid chapter since this one has been promised a bonus chapter (two actually) for most of this year.
But the good news is that I haven't let my free time languish ENTIRELY. Remember earlier on that I've been getting into digital art? Well I've been progressing at an okay pace, learning the concepts, lots of practice, etc. So I decided to give myself a real challenge and draw something I never got the chance to commission: Schnee in her basic, imperial infantry uniform before her stormtrooper days. So after a good three days of sketching, line art, and learning passable shading and highlighting, here's what I got... and even though it's by no means perfect, it's the best I've ever done, and here's to hoping I get better in the future where I can illustrate my own works (within reason)! Ignore the hands, it was my first time!
