What I thought About G5 (Non Spoiler Review) · 4:37am Sep 27th, 2021
Originally, I didn't have high hopes for G5; however, that changed quickly once a few shorts were released. After the first official trailer came out right before EFNW, I was getting pretty excited for it. As it got closer, I did my best to avoid any more trailers or spoilers from jerky-jerks. The trailer did its job and piqued my interest.
And then I watched the freakin movie, and Oh-My-Gawd it was good! I really loved it! Beat for beat they nailed it. Comedy was done well, there was real pathos at parts, the characters are dynamic and interesting, and it's well voice acted. I feel the movie only has one flaw, but it's not that big of a flaw, and I think there's enough nuance that this flaw is pretty diminished. Maybe in the future I will do a spoiler review where I can go into this more. It's too soon to go into full spoiler reviews.
