Hmmmmmmmmmmmm-
Sunny Starschout asks, "Daddy, tell me the story of the Princess of Friendship and the Pirate King Pony again."
Her father, Argyle Starshine, happily complies. "Of course, sweetheart. Which one would you like to hear? The tale of Discord's Defeat; the story Enies Lobby's Folly; the Canterlot Conflict; the Clash at the Crystal Empire...."
"Ooh! How about the Wano Country Raid for Freedom!"
Argyle chuckles, almost knowingly. "No problem. Once upon a time...."
*Several years later, after the Maretime Bay Incident and the Great Magic Reawaking....*
"Huh." The now-adult Sunny Starscout gazes down curiously among the rubble of her home. As she moved chunks of wall, she uncovered a secret stairway revealed by broken floorboards.
No sooner had she discovered this, she called over her new best friends. Hitch Trailblazer rushed over first followed by the chipper Izzy Moonbow. Using their newly reacquired flight, the sisters Zipp Storm and Pipp Petals descended to join the group. Ever-curious, Sunny beckoned her friends to join her as she followed the stairs down. The rest of her friends came after her with Hitch being slightly hesitant before relenting to the group decision. Down the spiral stairs, everyone soon reached a large and dark cavern. Izzy used her magic to make a small light for her friends as they wandered around a wooden and wide scaffold. Switches, buttons, and levers on panels lined the wall, covered in dust and cobwebs. On the other side, the space expanded largely but unfortunately hidden by seemingly unending darkness. Not even Izzy's glow could reveal what lie in the depths; not without a more advanced spell.
The group did not know how to brighten the cavern but when Hitch backed into something, he accidentally pressed a switch. Electricity ran through the wires and into the lights both on the panels and above the group. One by one, the ceiling lights illuminated first the scaffold and then the cavern entirely. It revealed an awesome sight that left the group of friends stunned. A massive vessel was docked in a cove below the group. A solo brig with a figurehead like a lion or a sunflower with a face. It had a number on the side, "1," and trees growing from its deck as tall as the cabins they stood next to. Though the sails were limp, an image of a skull wearing a straw hat could be seen.
Sunny gasped in realization. "Guys, do you know what this is?!"
Everyone looked at their friend unsure. Sunny kept going. "This...! This is the Thousand Sunny! The ship that belonged to the Pirate King Pony Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, which included the Guardians of Harmony and the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle!"
Now, everyone could be amazed. After all, the heroic tales of the Pirate King Pony and the Princess of Friendship may have been stories but now, they were becoming history. A history of adventure, ready to be rediscovered!
I thought the movie was fun

Yeah, I think so too. It was pretty decent, did make me interested in seeing the series to follow. There is definitely an interesting mystery to solve and perhaps more to see
Hmm....I like it. 6/10. Okay, 6.5

I think that's fair; I'd give more or less the same grade.
I am, though, interested in a continuation with the open mystery they've left us
