A few months ago a couple friends of mine inspired me to try making some zero waste changes. This means nothing goes to landfill: you aim to recycle, reuse anything you consume, and refuse anything else. I followed their journey with interest, and over time found myself making changes too. The more I became aware of the ethics of my choices, the more buzz I heard around cruelty free products too, especially when it came to beauty.

So, with all this in mind, I’ve decided to create a space where all of these things can come together. Here I will document my journey into the world of zero waste, cruelty free, ethical fashion and beauty. This is a real time documentation of my own endeavours into this, so bear in mind I’m still learning! I’ll be taking you for the ride as I transition my consumer habits, as well as finding ways to incorporate the products I already do have into fashion choices that are overall more ethical. I’m hoping by following my journey you’ll be inspired to start your own, and maybe I’ll provide some useful pointers on the way?

PS: myself not very advanced on this road. I do not eat meat/fish/chicken for nearly 15 years, try to help others (including dogs and cats) when I can, and do not buy too much stuff (on my pension/welfare), but I am quite far from even coming closer to zero waste, sadly :(. Anyway, this is interesting place I spend few hours reading/exploring. We might not have magic pill for humanity yet 'retweeting' interesting finds might help others .....
