My Funky Little Existential Nightmare

So, out of pure curiosity, which do you think is worse - showering with only cold water, or showering with only hot water?

It's a bit of a pointless question. I mean, hot water is the one that runs out, after all, and nobody in their right mind would shower with the water turned all the way to hot. That shit comes out borderline boiling - you'd burn yourself before you even got the CHANCE to get clean. Even people who like hot showers recognize there's a point where the heat is just too much. It's silly to even ask.

Today, my dorm managed to run out of cold water.

So I guess I kinda went radio silent after the whole Apple fiasco. They're still working on getting it fixed, but like, it's not the end of the world, if that makes sense. I could work around it if I needed to; writing is not impossible. So like, where have I been? What's happening with Pound and Pumpkin? How the fuck is it possible for a building to run out of COLD WATER???

Simply put, I've been... busy.

I started college! That's a big deal, right? Moving on in my life, tryna get myself set up for a career, all that jazz. I've been having an absolute blast thus far - gettings some awesome friends, having fun in classes (for the most part), doing all sorts of neat stuff, it's great. However, my schedule is ABSOLUTELY fucking packed. Like, I'm writing this quickly while trying to take notes in my first class of six today.

So writing progress is gonna be slow.

Not halted! I finally have an idea of how to bridge the gap between the plan and the story execution for the next chapter of Pound and Pumpkin, so I'll work on that, but I gotta find time for writing in between nine classes, the HOMEWORK for said nine classes, social life, food, and like, sleep. So it's gonna be a little longer, but it's not like, cancelled. I'm working on it.

This is just a quick little update in between classes.

Showering with hot ice water, with the chunks of ice big enough that they leave bruises.

Then it turns out, because of global warming your dorm and everywhere else is 130 degrees F with 99% humidity.
