Oh my gosh! I've gotten such positive feedback already on what I thought was a silly little niche thing, and that means the world to me. Seeing so many reads and so many positive ratings fills me with joy, and I'm so immensely happy! I'll have to get more work done on it, soon! :D
As a treat for everyone invested, here's a preview of the Mane Six we've seen so far as of the story, along with a few little tidbits of lore I'm not fully sure I'll be able to interweave naturally into the narrative.
Love how these gals look so far. What about the obscured ones, hmm? Oooh, very mysterious, very strange.
But yes! Lore!
- Rarity and Fluttershy are dating. Fluttershy funnels her confident energy into monster taming, and Rarity loves to plunder ancient tombs and old ruins for new and unusual fashions and textiles.
- Twilight and Chrysalis are also together; Twilight worked for a long time to redeem Chrysalis, and Chrysalis works as Twilight's lab assistant. Spike is off elsewhere in Equestria, seeing the sights and enjoying enforced vacation time/independence.
- Twilight was offered the choice to become an alicorn, but turned it down. She saw it as a shortcut to success, and wanted to stay as a unicorn and a civilian so that things could continue to provide her a challenge.
- How the facehugger eggs were seeded beneath Equestria is a secret lost to time. Discord knew about them, but never saw them as much of an issue; if they ever tried to ruin his fun, they would be little trouble to deal with, he figured.
But yeah! I'm excited to get more written in time; as I reveal more of the mane six, develop Scratch more, and hopefully provide some meaningful entertainment, I hope to continue to get so much positive feedback and attention :D
I love the first three chapters can't wait to see what happens next
