So...been a while. I'll just say that I'll be putting all my stories on canceled, no kidding that I'll continue them. I just haven't had the drive I used to and, honestly, my story was doomed to fail. It was a spur of the moment thing and without a plan past the coronation arc I wouldn't be able to keep up with it. So yeah...I do hope someone takes my idea and can write a proper story with it! I'm just sorry for everyone who's been hoping for nothing. I don't think it's a bad concept, it simply needs tweaks.
Speaking on concepts I do have one I think could go farther, but it requires a better understanding of intrigue and sub plots than what I currently have. Here's the description I'd put with it:
"5 years ago, During the Summer Sun Celebration, Celestia was attacked by an assassin that claimed her life. Desperate, Luna used dark and long hidden magic to heal her body and return her soul to her body and seemed to succeed. But when left alone during her recovery, Celestia vanished into the night.
Since then Equestria has been in turmoil, a group of prominent ponies slowly convincing the population that the princesses need to step down and let the common pony govern, as to prevent the chaos of Celestia's believed passing from rocking the nation again. With Cadence busy running the Crystal Empire and Twilighy still inexperienced in the political battlefield, along with her hope of ever finding her missing sister dwindling, Luna is slowly weakening under the weight of it all.
Meanwhile, a pegasus known as Sunny Skies in the small town of Flower Valley has just received the exciting news. The Summer Sun Celebration was going to be held with them that year! If only she didn't know that it was fate come finally knocking."
It would also be a human in equestria story, but with a twist. If you like the idea and wanna try writing it with more details on what I mind, lemme know! Otherwise, I'll see if I can't at least write a first chapter or something for it eventually.
Thanks for the update and explaining your situation. Thee have been plenty of writers who seem to just disappear and we end up thinking the worst.
I'm glad you are doing ok and I wish you the best whether you write about small equines or not.
Motivation is a fickle mistress, but by golly she can be spectacular when she cooperates. Here's to hoping she will shower you with attention soon.

Maybe I'll end up swapping to a sort of comic/blog format. I just started practicing art and I'm gonna stick with that if I can!

I am sad to see more good stories get cancel but I understand the cause. Hope you might find a spark to continue in the future.
