    I Can't

It breaks my heart to write this, but I think you all knew it was coming, even though I liked to believe I didn't.

I said a long time ago that nothing on this account ever gets cancelled or goes on hiatus, that I fully intended to finish every story I started, no matter how long it took. Well, I still fully intend to. It's just, unfortunately, going to take even longer than I anticipated.

    Hey

I started doing a little Nightmare Night story a couple days before the actual thing. Should have it done before the week ends, hopefully tomorrow. (It's the thought that counts.)

    Lovely horsey princess.

Also, I'm on break now, so I'm hoping to get more writing done.

Writing Bonanza Part 6: THE FINALE · 1:57am Aug 31st, 2021

The time has come, my friends. It has been six fruitful weeks of writing, and it all comes to this. The chapters I dropped were so hot that the fan on my laptop straight-up died. That said, I unfortunately won't have a final version of the update roster to share with you, but I'll be sure to do that once I get my machine back. For now, please enjoy this blog post and expect the final chapter update sometime in the next few days.

Without further ado, let's wrap up the whole enchilada!

The final story to be updated in the Greatest Hits Writing Bonanza is...

TYRANNY!
After meeting their big goal for their Filly Scout cookie sale, the Cutie Mark Crusaders and their troop, chaperoned by Fluttershy, get to spend the night in a natural history museum in Vanhoover. Unfortunately, a recently discovered artifact bears a grave curse, one that brings to life the fiercest predator that the museum, or Equestria, has ever known... Tyrannosaurus rex. Will the Ponyville and Vanhoover troops be able to survive the night trapped inside with a 40-foot hypercarnivore?

Twas my first foray into true horror writing, I remember it well. I myself have never cared for the horror genre and I'm remarkably squeamish when it comes to realistic violence, but something about this story concept urged me to write it. And so, the blood & gore gourmet shall continue. Whoever makes it out alive will never be the same. :pinkiecrazy:

Join the hunt... the king awaits.

And thus, the Greatest Hits Writing BonanzaTM comes to a close! Thank you all so much for accompanying me on this great journey. I wasn't sure I'd be able to pull it off, but in the end, I impressed myself. I sense a change being made for the better in my life, and I intend to devote a lot more time to this pursuit, now that I remember how good it feels to write. I hope you all stick around to see these stories and more to their conclusion--trust me, it'll be worth it!

Much love,
TMB:heart:
