In a parallel world, another version of Equestria where ponies coexist happily with each other, and with their elven brethren. In this world, ponies are capable of changing their size to accommodate for their elven riders.
Their world was once protected and guided by The Paladins of Harmony. But after they dispersed, the world fell into ruin. The three pony types—Earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi—and the three elf types—earth elves, mages, and fairies—now only live with their own kind.
Earth ponies and earth elves reside at the bay.
Unicorns and mages in the forests.
And pegasi and fairies in the high mountaintops.
Sunny Starscout is an earth pony living in the seaside town of Maretime Bay, alongside her childhood best friend Keith Kogan, an earth elf. They grew up with stories about the Paladins of Harmony and Sunny still believes there is hope for this divided world.
One day, a lost unicorn named Izzy Moonbow and her mage friend, Katie Holt, wander into Maretime Bay. The town's residents react in panic, believing that Izzy and Mage are hostile invaders. Sunny and Keith, finally given an opportunity to make friends with a unicorn and mage, shelters Katie and Izzy in their home, and the two reveal that unicorns and mages no longer have magic powers following their sudden disappearance.
Together, with their childhood friends, Hunk Garret and Hitch Trailblazer, and the Pegasi princesses, Pipp Petals and Zipp Storm, along with their fairy friends, Lance and Allura, they embark on an adventure and travel across Equestria on a mission to restore magic to the land.
CHARACTERS:
Sunny Starscout: A feisty and determined earth pony who dreams of the days where the Paladins of Harmony once protected the world. Teaming up with her best friend, Keith, Sunny is on a mission to restore the magic back to Equestria.
Keith Kogan: An earth elf and a trained martial artist. He serves as a police officer alongside his friend, Hitch Trailblazer. He is a lot more serious and cautious than Sunny but also headstrong and confident. He is protective of his “little sister”. He falls in love with Princess Allura.
Hunk Garret: An engineer earth elf from Maretime bay. He loves Sunny’s smoothies. Hitch gets Hunk to join him to find Sunny and Keith. He’s a bit of a coward but has an inner bravery that shines through when needed.
Hitch Trailblazer: An earth pony and Sunny’s childhood friend and secret crush. He is, ironically, very close with Hunk, despite him being more of a coward.
Zipp Storm: A tomboyish Pegasus princess who befriends Sunny and Keith. She is co-princess with Allura, with whom she is very close to. They are both fascinated with magic and wonder what life in the ancient days were like.
Allura Altea: A fairy princess from Zephyr Heights and Zipp’s best friend/co-princess. Allura is refined and next in line for the throne, so she takes her job seriously, yet is also curious about the outside world and becomes fascinated with Keith Kogan.
Pipp Petals: Zip’s twin sister and a famous pop star in Zephyr Heights. She shares the spotlight with he best friend and ‘elf-bro’, Lance.
Lance Altea: Allura’s younger brother and Pipp’s co-star on stage. He loves to sing and perform and is very close with Pipp. He develops a crush on Katie.
Izzy Moonbow: A hyperactive and creative unicorn who befriends Sunny and Keith. He is the polar opposite of Katie, who is more about technology and using her hands than just magic. This makes her a foil to Allura, who is fascinated by magic.
Katie Holt: A mage Izzy’s roommate who is her polar opposite. While Izzy is loud and extroverted, Katie is introverted and prefers keeping to herself and keeping Izzy out of trouble. But she still loves her and would travel to the ends of the earth for her. She develops a crush on Lance.

Yes, you read that right. I am going to be making a Pony Legend rendition of the upcoming Gen 5 film! Now, I want to make a few things clear.
1) This is a ONE. SHOT. STORY. Meaning, I will NOT be tackling the television series once it comes out. So no New Generation saga. Sorry, but I’ve got TWO original projects and another fanfic I need to consider. I’m only doing this for both nostalgic reasons, and because I wanted to satisfy your curiosities as to wethe I would tackle Gen 5 and include it into the LPL mythos. Which brings me too…
2) I regret to say that Korra, Twilight, and the rest of Team Avatar Harmony will not be featured in this story. I’ve decided to establish it as an alternate version of Equestria to avoid so many of the glaring questions and plot holes the actual movie is presenting so far in terms of the established worldbuilding of Gen 4. You all know what I mean. To clarify, I mean this is an alternate universe, NOT the Equestria we know. Cannon, fannon or otherwise. It will be completely it’s own Equestria. Different history, and everything.
3) Good news, in keeping with the Studio Mir design. I will be including alternate versions of Voltron characters. Also, no relation to my Voltron Fanfictions either. Of course, these characters will be rewritten to be elves and not humans. So pointy Altean ears for everyone!
Yeah, I know making Lance and Allura siblings is weird, but believe me, it wouldn’t be the first time someone’s done it. I still remember this one Lion King fanfiction where they made Lance Shiro and Allura’s son. THEIR SON! Besides, this will have Plance and Kallura. DON’T JUDGE ME!!

Also, I don’t mind the idea of Lance and Allura being siblings, because that would make more sense than having them as a couple. Because you and I both know Keith and Allura deserve each other.
