“…Dante?”
The taller changeling looked over with a canted brow, sitting up and rubbing his head.
“Hey… how are you feeling?”
“I-I guess I’m alright…Wha…what happened…?”
“It’s kinda hard to explain. You had some sort of panic attack…”
“O-Oh…oh no…”
Undead Bez bit her lip, afraid she might have said something wrong. “W-What?”
“I-It happened, didn’t it…? W-Where’s my gun?” He began frantically patting himself down.
“Gun? Oh… did you leave it at the table?”
“Flutters!! She didn’t get ahold of it, did she?!”
“Course not. She’s right there next to you.”
Dante glanced down, and, sure enough, she was standing right there. He yelped and fell back onto his haunches.
“Flutters…ah…please…don’t scare me like that…”
The young nymph frowned, her lips mouthing something. No sound came out, as usual, but it was clear she was trying to apologize. Dante smiled softly, ruffling her mane.
“It’s fine, ya little mute scoundrel…”
She rolled her eyes, curling up against him and snoozing. Dante smiled, gently rubbing her head. “Heheh…little gremlin…”
