So, no blogs since May of 2018. Yikes. Totally missed BABSCon and EFNW 2019. And then...
Yeah, we all know what happened next. But EFNW 2020 2021 just happened. And it worked. It felt great. Yeah, we all still had masks, and it was a new hotel, and G4 is over, but... I'm excited again. I'm going to try to get back to writing again! (Yeah, famous last words, I know.)
So to those of you I saw there, thank you for showing up. To those who helped me — running the con, presenting content, and judging Iron Author — Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Somehow Pony is still happening, and I swear I'm gonna try to circle the wagons and keep that going!
Famous last words indeed. Show us that resolve, Jimbo. Even if it's finishing out Hole, I know you have it in ya! Oh, and you should probably see if the rest of the entourage is ready and willing to get back to it as well.
Welcome back! I've been gone for about the same length of time, I missed all of this.

Hey, it was awesome seeing most-of-everybody again, and the writing room was stellar. Good place, good company, and good times. May it continue in various incarnations forever.
I wish I could’ve been there. It’s great to hear it was such a success!
We didn't really get to hang out at all, and I completely missed Iron Author for reasons I forget (the whole con was just so full of catching up with people that I missed it), bit I had an absolute blast myself, and I'm right there with you catching a ride on the trailer hitch of writing again. Hope to see you next year!
Was great to see ponies in person again, hope we can all keep it going.

I said I'd finish it, and I will. I said I didn't know when, and that's still true too. Did I think it would ever take THIS long? No. But... It still matters to me. It's still important. And if I finish before WInds of Winter comes out, then I'm still faster than George RR Martin. :-P

Who says I'm fighting for just one story at this point? The world's foundation is strong enough to sustain a series and I'm pretty sure we both know it.
