Greetings!
Just a little blog about the state of things. The last one happened in April, so I figured it wouldn't be the worst of ideas to give a little update, especially having in mind the last pieces of news I shared those months ago.
So, first things first, I am doing rather well. Of course, some would say that I should count my blessings and stop complaining about things not being entirely smooth, but I wouldn't be myself then. And being oneself is important, even if oneself needs constant improving. Like, in the case of my writing, it happened with my enforced regime of "a little every day". Here I see definite developments, both when it comes to actually managing to finish chapters and my personal comfort. To again manage to, even if in a slower but comfortable tempo, have an outlet for creativity and an overabundance of ideas really helps organize one's mind.
Second things second, I'm putting active effort in dealing with that health issue I wrote about last time. Turns out that being a moon-loving introvert, with an office job and preferring the comfort of his own home afterwards can lead to certain vitamin deficiencies, who knew? And that those can start an entire Rube Goldberg machine of that, here's hoping, can be resolved without too much of an issue. Here's hoping!
My publishing schedule got a little turned around, since it looks like writing "Journey with a Batpony" is the easiest task for my mind to handle when responsibilities weigh down on it. However, I have over the course of the last week also managed to put down a chapter of "Grave Matters" and even one of "The Rose and the Serpent", which I shall deem as a set of successes. One loves to see notifications about comments and favorites and the like, but the thrill of just throwing something out there for people to enjoy is more important.
And currently I'm scouting through a few ideas of legal nature to refine whilst also, actually, looking for prompts and inspirations randomly. Nobody knows what can take root and blossom into something written, especially with the next generation right around the corner.
So, there we have it. Next blog and more to come in the future. As always, stay safe, care for one another and stay tuned, everyone,
~Gulheru
