    Anyone familiar with TF2?

If you've been keeping up with my story A New Generation in the Forgotten Land, you may know that each of the Waddle Dees rescued corresponds with a mission in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and I tend to do this for EVERY mission.

    Need Some Ideas

In case you guys didn't know, I finally posted the latest chapter of A New Generation in the Forgotten Land! However, that poses a problem, because the next chapter introduces an Ability that Kirby hasn't obtained before discovering the New World. That may not seem all that bad, but because it's new to Kirby (and to those who haven't played Forgotten Land), I want to introduce it in a

    *Visible Confusion*

Yesterday I was on Fimfiction, minding my own business and brainstorming things to add to my story, but I noticed something weird...

When I visited my profile page, I saw that my comments on my profile had been disliked. I was a bit confused. It was probably someone begging for attention. If that was the case, then congrats. But if they were trying to upset me...

Attention, Miitopia Fans! · 3:25am Aug 7th, 2021

I have a very special announcement to make. If you've beaten the game Miitopia for Nintendo Switch, you likely already know about the area New Lumos, a location filled with powerful monsters.

Pretty much anyone with high-level characters can clear each of the eight districts and beat the bosses within, and some of you may have even beaten the Tower of Dread. That's what I managed to do yesterday.

But that isn't what this announcement is about.

In the Switch version of Miitopia, a new boss-rush area is unlocked after you clear the Tower of Dread: the Tower of Despair. Just to see how badly I would get swept, I took it on today.

However, I was in for a surprise...

Yep, that's right. I beat the Tower of Despair on my first try. Admittedly, I did come at least somewhat prepared; my team consisted of a level 50 Cat (me), a level 46 Warrior (Link), a level 50 Scientist (E. Gadd), and a level 50 Vampire (Allister).

I just defeated the Dark Lord. Darn, I still have a long way to go.

I didn't know you played Miitopia as well.

Don't worry. As long as you spend gold wisely, use grub to increase the stats of all of your Miis, carefully use your Sprinkles during battles, and remember to grind, not even the Darkest Lord will be able to defeat your team.

Speaking of grinding, there is a stage in the Otherworld that is home to many rare monsters that give lots of grub, gold, and experience. After beating the final stage on the main path before the Darker Lord, press left and you will follow a hidden path to a secret stage. When given the choice between the Banana Hunt and Snurp Hunt path, pick the Snurp Hunt path. If you're lucky, you will encounter a Tasty Snurp in the first battle, many Gold Snurps in the second battle, and two Rare Snurps and three Very Rare Snurps in the third battle.

Like Rare Snurps, Very Rare Snurps have a chance to flee from battle, and they also take only 1 damage from most attacks and 3 damage from excited Miis or Miis that are showing off. The best jobs to use to defeat them are fast jobs like the Cleric or Thief, as well as the Vampire. The Vampire's Curse skill does half the damage taken to an enemy who directly attacks the Vampire, so it will instantly kill a Very Rare Snurp if it deals 30 or more damage to the Vampire in one hit (without killing the Vampire).

If you have trouble with them fleeing, try an Elf's Dancing Arrow. Dancing monsters cannot act, which means Rare and Very Rare Snurps cannot flee.

Thanks. I will have to remember all that when I reach that point, but I'm sure that this won't happen before some time. Right now, I'm in the middle of that quest where I must fight a hamburger with the help of a npc cook.

5566459
Just be careful. Hamburger enemies can temporarily eat one of your teammates and make them unable to do anything (but also unable to be attacked), so if there's a character you don't want eaten, keep it in the Safe Spot during the Hamburger's turn.

5566463
Aw buck... Thanks for the warning. Shouldn't be as bad as the yeti constantly freezing my Miis.

5566466
You think the Hamburger is bad? They can only eat one Mii at a time, so it isn't that annoying.

But just you wait until you encounter pairs of Extra-Spicy Hamburgers as bosses in the post-game...

5566492
The hamburger wasn't bad. The UFO, however, made me want to strangle something. Stealing my bananas again and again. At least, my thief was stealing them back only to be stole again so the UFO didn't end up stealing all the bananas of the team.

Or there were the three demons when I did that quest with the youngest fairy. Always turning my Miis depressive so they not only didn't attack, but also stopped the ones who weren't depressive from attacking too. If it hadn't been for the purple salt, this fight would have been impossible.

5566581
That's why you should have a Scientist or Princess on your team when facing enemies that like to give your team status effects; their Safety Mask and Blindfold skills can prevent effects like laughter, nervousness, and crying.

Additionally, if the relationship with your horse is strong enough, its Neigh can remove those kinds of status effects.

Something absolutely epic happened to me yesterday in Miitopia.
I'm currently in the post-game, doing daily quests while slowly accomplishing the levels of the new areas.
Yesterday, the youngest of the fairy sisters proposed one of her quests where she asked me to find sweet food for her. The problem was that her quest was level 41 while most of my Miis are around level 30 excepted my main who was level 37, and so, the quest was judged hard by the game.
I still took it, thinking that I still could do it.
I did manage to fight my way through the mini-dungeon without too much problem despite encountering these nose enemies that hit hard when they sneeze. But then, I reached the boss, two robots, and oh boy...
My team was composed of my main (a warrior), a mage, a priest, and a vampire, and the robots were so powerful that any of their attacks could one shot my mage and my priest. With this, I quickly understood that I had a serious problem.
But I fought, using my sprinkles to heal and protect when necessary (especially my priest). Eventually, I managed to destroy one of the robots, but by then, my team was pretty worn down. So it came to a moment where I didn't have any healing left and my main was knocked out, taking a hit while protecting the priest. The vampire was also knocked out but he brought himself back to life with one hp thanks to his ability. But then, the robot knocked out the priest and the mage and I thought that I was done for.
Only, when my main saw the mage knocked out, he got up! The horse then 'told' me that I could use him in the next turn, and I HAD ALL MY MP!! And so, without hesitation, I use the warrior's ultimate attack with the horse, dealing over 1200 damage to the robot and destroying it!
When the fight ended, I was shaking hard, and I had to stop myself from yelling victoriously. That was the most awesome thing that ever happened to me in a RPG.

However, I'm still waiting for that quest to unlock the elf... You unlock it by a quest, right? Like the vampire?

5569571
What can I say? Friendship is magic, especially in Miitopia!

Nope, it isn't a quest item. You have to find a tablet in Galados Isle then bring that tablet to the gate on the far right side of the isle. But be careful when you pass the gate and enter the weird portal; the enemies you have to face are very tough, including a Red Dragon and a Replica Dark Lord. It'll be worth it, though, because the Elf Charm is at the very end of the gauntlet.

5569620
Thanks. Well, I think that I will wait a little bit before attempting to get the Elf Charm. Like I said, these nose monsters (that we also encounter behind the gate and which I don't know their English name) are still a pain to fight as they still deal a lot of damage to my Miis. And there must be more powerful monsters here, so I wouldn't stand a chance. I think that I will wait for my Miis to be at least level 40. Meanwhile, I'm completing the city. I just fought the black dragon a few hours ago.

5569628
They're called Running Noses. The ones with sunglasses and bandages are the toughest ones, Wild Running Noses.

5569631
Bwahahahaha! You won't believe it! I just completed the little dungeon at the end of Galados Island that you told me about, and you know what? My priest used her one shot attack on the Red Dragon and the Replica Dark Lord on the first turn of the respective fights and was able to kill them! I didn't even have to fight them! It was over before I landed any hit! :rainbowlaugh: :rainbowlaugh: :rainbowlaugh:

5570163
Your luck is incredible!:rainbowlaugh:

If it hadn't been for that one-hit kill landing both times, you would've had to deal with the Red Dragon frightening your party and dealing big damage with its wings, and the Replica Dark Lord giving your team nightmares.

The Elf Charm will definitely be worth it. Elves can create damage-reducing barriers for themselves and friends, restore MP, counter enemy attacks to teammates, distract enemies that aren't bosses with Dancing Arrow, heal the whole team a little with Healing Melody, and deal great damage to enemies with their Enchanted Arrows and Hail of Arrows!

5570171
Seems very useful undeed! But it's really annoying that I will have to (re)start the character I will give the elf class to from level one with the beginner equipment. I was okay with the vampire because I got it rather early after the fight against the Dark Lord so the character I chose wasn't that developped, but here, with all my Miis being around level 40 with equipments costing at least 12000 or 15000 coins...
Also, I have no idea which class to give up to give its place to the elf. I really developped some good games with all of them. (My classes are the warrior, the mage, the priest, the thief, the scientist, the singer, the princess, the cook, the imp, and the vampire. When I was forced to, I replaced my warrior's class with the cat, and then with the tank, before giving him back the warrior. And my vampire was originally a flower)

5570176
You could just create a new Mii to give the Elf class to, but if you really want to give it to an existing character, give it to the imp. While they can lower enemy defenses and excite teammates, imps are poor attackers. Even when they use their strongest attack, it deals less damage to groups of enemies than a singer's strongest attack, which also harms allies.

And don't forget you can grind experience at the hidden level in the space area!

5570314
Thanks. Yeah, I don't really want to do a new Mii. Not only I would have to start him or her from scratch with the level and the equipment, but also with the relationships and the food, and it would take forever to catch up and the Mii would be behind the others for a while.
