I am trying to write. I've been writing a few words here and there for chapter two of A Spark Reignited during my lunch break. After work I'm trying to type up a bit of an unrelated one shot and while I've gotten more words down... its a struggle? I've got the words up there, its not writers block. Its just a struggle of staying motivated when not motivated at all.
The one shot should be easy enough to write down.. I have such a thorough story outline that is over a thousand words I just need flesh it out.
Chapter two of a spark reignited, I can picture the characters talking, hear what they're saying, and keep getting ideas to add details. That one is getting hand written first though and I won't start typing until I have a few pages written out first.
On the plus side, got the house to myself for the next week (and then some) so I dont have to add socializing to my schedule
When I began writing, I forced myself to write at least 1000 words a day, no matter what. I did that for about a year. Good or bad, it didn't even matter if I uploaded the chapter or not. Not only does it eliminate writer's block, but it also trains you to get over writing struggles.
Everyone works at their own pace, and if you should always take a break if you need to, but by setting a goal for yourself and sticking to it, writing starts to become more and more automatic and less difficult.

Wow. I can't imagine doing so many words a day. Between working full time and getting a new house in order I struggle with getting anything written on a daily basis

That's understandable. It's a habit, and like any habit it takes time to develop. The key is to never be too precious with a story, character, or even scene. Write straight from the brain and leave editing to later. If you can't hit 1k a day, just do what can, even if it's just a paragraph. The act of doing is what is important, not the content of the writing itself.
