Nah, this isn't one of those blog posts where I blurt at the top of my lungs 'I LOVE YOU GUYS!!' 
That ain't my style, and besides I am English don't you know. We're all masters of restraint. 
Instead, I'd just like to offer a simple 'Thank You' to everyone who ever supported me on this site, whether it be by reading one of my many stories (more than 140 at last count, WOW) or tolerating my infamous snark on one of the various comment sections. You're all good, good people and I only wish you the very best. 
Here's to the next generation of MLP, and beyond. And even if 5.0 turns out to be a damp squib, at least we still have its predecessor. I'll continue to write horse words regardless, and I hope you'll continue following me on this weird and wacky journey that started all that time ago. 
In fact, that reminds me. I still have another chapter to finish up. I tell you, I am LOVING this new workaholic attitude I seem to have picked up from somewhere... 
As soon as someone figures out how to bottle such an emotion Starlight-style, you will let me know, won't you?

I, meanwhile, am very skeptical for G5. I worry it may tarnish the legacy of G4 even more than Twilight becoming a recoloured Celestia did. The new ponies look kinda dumb and plus, I don't think ponies look good in 3D animation.
Not that I don't like 3D animation in general (after all, I'm also a Miraculer), it's just that ponies don't look good in it. And then there's the tennis balls. Do we really wanna turn this fandom into a tennis club?
Overall, I plan on only considering G4 to be canon. I dare Hasbro to try to change my mind and make a G5 episode better than G4's "To Where and Back Again" and "The Cutie Re-Mark". I absolutely DARE them to make a song in G5 better than G4's "This Day Aria"!

G5 is going to be its own separate thing, so there's no chance of that happening. And how did Twilight looking like Celestia in "The Last Problem" tarnish the "legacy" of G4? Yeah, I didn't like it either, but it certainly didn't tarnish anything.

Well, Twilight becoming a recoloured Celestia was more of a disappointing ending than a legacy tarnishment, but the point is it was a bad choice and G5 might worsen its effects.
Yeah, I get that complaining about the tennis balls is dumb, but that's pretty much the only thing anyone associates with G5, which again shows how dumb G5 can be expected to be.
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but personally I think G5 is gonna be another piece of uncreative formulaic profit-driven SJW corporate bullshit that every major media corporation (aside from the far-right Trumpist nonsense that is Fox News) is looking to turn legacy franchises into.
I mean, just look at Doctor Who! It used to be great, with talented writers like Russell T. Davies and Steven Moffat, and actual talented actors like David Tennant and Matt Smith. Now it's a clusterfuck of plot holes and inconsistencies serving as an outhouse for the talentless excuse of a storywriter named Chris Chibnall while the only-slightly-talented Jodie Whittaker completely fails to portray the Doctor and instead seems to be playing the character of a confused drunk woman.

Yeah, sorry about that, it was another one of my 3AM rants-about-stuff-I-don't-like. The point is, I do not have high hopes for G5. My expectations for it are essentially a 3D-animated G1, with terribly written characters and 1000% cringe. No matter what, I'm sticking with G4. Smolcellus 4evah!
