    I will return to G5

    Hey, guys. Mr. J here.

Just so you're aware, I am planning to return to MLP G5: both watching Tell Your Tale and Make Your Mark. Now, I don't remember if I ever told you all about this, but I did inform some of y'all that I've given up hope for G5 because the episodes I watched around that time (two years ago) were so forgettable and boring.

Greetings, everyone! This is Mr. J with another movie review for today! This afternoon, I will be discussing one of the most underrated animated films of all time... and his name is Open Season! This is one of my dearest movies of my childhood that I’ve always watched almost constantly and never stopped loving. Even to this very day, this film is still the best out of all four films in my opinion. Some of you may not be aware that this franchise existed, and if that is the case, I would love to reveal to you what this film is about.

The plot is about a grizzly bear, adopted by a young ranger, who had the best of times growing up with her and had a comfortable life. However, not long after meeting a jovial buck, things got completely out of hand for him which later on resulted in his return to the forest. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, Boog and Elliot must work together albeit begrudgingly to find their way back home. To be honest, I thought this plot was really interesting as we get to know Boog as a main character and see how his character development would progress.

The voice acting from Martin Lawrence (Boog) and Ashton Kutcher (Elliot) was top-notch and gave their best vocal performances which made the characters both hilarious and enjoyable to watch.

The main antagonist, Shaw, was and is my favorite character in this whole film. He was both hysterical, intimidating, cunning, sadistic, and narcissistic as a ruthless hunter who cared for nothing except for his precious rifle named Laraine, hunting down animals out of paranoia that they would take over the world, and being above them in every way. Gary Sinise was amazing as Shaw and for conveying a paranoid, menacing, and reckless hunter. Plus, some of his lines were a little meme-worthy.

The animation is fantastic, the story is intriguing as I already outlined, and the rest of the characters were really good too. The choreography was likewise spot-on along with the visuals for this film. I’m afraid I can’t say the same for the sequels. You’ll find out more about that in detail once I review them.

While some of the comedic scenes may not have stood out as the others have execution-wise, the comedy is nonetheless wonderful especially for a fantasy/animated movie. Overall, it is an underrated family-fun piece of art that deserves more recognition than it already has. Thus, I rate it an 11/10.

Peace!

Now this movie, I've actually seen, it was really funny, especially the squirrels. A bear losing to a bunch of squirrels will always be funny, and then the lead squirrel decides to blow up the hunters' cars, and is riding the pet dog like a noble steed

Shaw was a few bullets short of a cartridge. He literally thought his gun was alive.

I remember seeing this movie once or twice before. Sadly I was never a big fan of it.
