So, update status on Project Hive and Wasteland Bouquet, and some real-world projects that have been eating up my time.
Project Hive: I swear I had a chapter in progress, but I can't find it after not working on it for a couple of months due to IRL stuff. I think it's on my computer, and not the laptop I normally write on, but where I might have saved it is a mystery.
Wasteland Bouquet: ...I wrote the title for the new chapter. Kinda. Yep, still procrastinating on this.
Real-World Projects: All delayed for multiple reasons. Mostly weather related reasons.
Prop commission I'm working on. Mostly done, and I remembered why I hate working with hardwood. Weather delay.
One wooden heater shield, a test piece for a commission. Would've finished it this week if the weather hadn't been crap.
Carved horn jewelry. In the sketch stages, since wet weather means no tools.
Horn thumb ring for archery, same as the jewelry. Rain, hail and just general cold.
Tutorials for etching a knife blade and an axe head, and how to turn a cheap viking axe into a nice costume piece. Weather again.
Leatherworking tutorial. Spent a whole day filming, used half my leather, finished the piece. Went to edit and none of the audio was useable.
In the end, I've come to a conclusion: Screw the weather, I've gotta sit down with a cup of something hot and start writing, instead of being lazy.
Yea! Write me some more buggy adventures! Get back to work writing slave!
"Prop commission I'm working on."
Prop as in theatre or prop as in airscrew?
"Went to edit and none of the audio was useable."
Well, maybe you could fix that with a voiceover, at least?
In general, sorry about the weather difficulties; good luck there!
And thanks for the updates!

Prop as in functional costume piece. I make stuff for my own use at medieval faires mostly, but do some custom pieces, almost always with a medieval or fantasy theme.
A custom wand, a couple of wizard staffs, several wooden shields of different types, stuff like that. At the last fair, I made a bunch of wax seals with ribbons attached and gave them out to all the kids who wanted photos with me, since I went in full armor. I also did a single custom seal for my own gear, with magnets set in the back to mount to my armor, a Diablo 2 Runeword on one ribbon and the Litany Against Fear on another. Lost it walking through the gate, hope whoever found it liked it.
