You realize that Rarity vanishing in S1 before she has a chance to do most of her world-saving might be a big reason why G5 appears to have some postapocalytpic elements? :D

well my first comment didnt take into account that cryogenically frozen rarity would be at least in her fifties judging from the last episode and thus wouldn't fit in with the young cast, and now my attempt at a correction leads to this! sure it might explain the apocalypse but then rarity would be missing from the stories they have about the g4 cast. i just want rarity back ok??? ;_;
i'm definitely writing this as an au if my wishlist doesn't come true, though

(...You know, this probably isn't going to happen in the movie. Or early in the series. But it just occurred to me: having one of the G4 characters guest star in an episode, using (temporary?) time travel or the like, with their voice actor reprising the role, might actually not be off the table later in the series. I mean, depending on how things go; there are still a lot of unknowns, of course.)
