We decided to make more of these two.
“…and here is my condo!”
Undead Bez trotted in, taking a moment to gaze around the room. “Woah… it’s nice in here.”
“It’s a shared space. Luckily my bros won’t be home until maybe tomorrow. They’re out partying. Without me. Again.” He sighed and rolled his eyes.
“…why do they do that?”
“They’re just not used to me having other stuff to do besides record and preform…” he sighed again, but this time, staring sadly at the floor.
Undead Bez lowered her head as well. “…I see.”
Hesitantly, Dante reached his hoof out to lift her head so that they made eye contact. “…buuut, it’s not about that. It’s about us, and this movie I picked out!”
“What movie?”
“Thor!” He broke into an excited flutter, hovering slightly off the ground and plopping down in front of the T.V. “He’s one of my favorite superheroes from this place called ‘Marvel’…I think it’s a studio, but like, for moving pictures.”
“And it can be viewed from this screen box right here?”
“Heheh, that’s called a T.V. It does this thing called ‘broadcasting’ and ‘recording’, and it shows you whatever you want as long as it’s either on video or on discs like this!” He held up the circular disc, which depicted a mighty dragon clad in armor and wielding a giant hammer.
“Woah. Impressive,” she commented.
“Mhm. Anyways, ready to watch?”
“Ready if you are, Dante.”
He smiled softly at her before plopping the disc into the box. A few promotions for other movies began playing.
“We should see some of these sometime,” he chuckled.
“Heheh. They do seem interesting.”
“Mm, not as interesting as you.” he paused for a moment, blushing. “—I-I just mean, like, I’ve never seen someone take such a liking to chocolate donuts…eheh…heheheh…”
“Oh? I thought a lot of creatures liked chocolate donuts. I mean, you should see how many times Bezier gets them.”
“O-Oh, I see.”
Soon enough, the actual movie began to play. Dante giggled excitedly, beaming brightly. Undead Bez couldn’t help but look over with a small smile.
“The first time I watched this movie, I was actually…really surprised at how it kept me guessing.”
“Heh. I bet.”
Even as the movie was just in its first few minutes, Dante had a defined gleam in his eyes. He was really passionate about this “movie” stuff. He especially giggled at quite a few of the protagonist’s moments.
“He’s really cocky, actually. He reminds me of Hyperpop.”
“Does he, now?”
“Yep. I dunno why he’s got his giblets in a twist about me hanging out with you lately. Heh, it’s become a new hobby.” He grinned at her, this being the first time he’s taken his eyes off the screen since the movie started.
She blushed at him. “Honestly, same here… I can’t really blame that Hyperpop dude though.”
“D’aww, whaaat? He’s got lots to do without me. If they really needed me, they would’ve waited on me before they went partying.” he chuckled with the roll of his eyes.
They continued to watch the movie playing on the screen.
