The 'Greatest Hits' Writing Bonanza! · 10:14pm Jul 20th, 2021
As many of my long-time readers are likely to know, for one reason or another, I am terribly slow when it comes to updating my stories. However, since I participated in my first writing contest a couple months ago, I may have stumbled upon something that can help boost my creative output: deadlines! Ah yes, nothing quite motivates results like an artificial fire under your ass, and as some wise sage once spake, coal don't turn into diamonds without pressure. So that's why I've decided to institute the following upon myself. For your entertainment and my punishment motivation, I present to you...
THE GREATEST HITS WRITING BONANZA!
Once a week for the next six weeks, I will be gracing FimFiction with at least one (perhaps even two if I'm lucky!) lovingly written chapters crafted from my blood, sweat, and tears. They will be chosen from some of my most popular original works on this site, and I will update this blog post as they release (akin to what I did last October.) And the best part? They're all completely free! No paid DLC in this town!
And you know what? Just because I'm feeling so excited to get started, I'll go ahead and reveal the first of these exciting updates, along with a little blurb in case any new visitors aren't familiar with the story.
The first story being updated in the Greatest Hits Writing Bonanza is...
BLOODLUST!
After a chance encounter with a bat species she's never seen before, Fluttershy gets bitten, and strange things start to happen. She develops a taste for blood, and slowly starts to transform into a vampire! Will Rainbow Dash be able to help find a cure for her best friend before tragedy strikes the town of Ponyville?
This was the first story I ever wrote for FimFiction, and it's definitely proven my most popular. So I figured, why not give you want you want first? It's like getting ice cream for breakfast!
The first few chapters are a little errant in terms of formatting (it was before I developed my preferred style of prose writing) so the text may be blocky here or there and characters' lines of dialogue may flow into each other. Nonetheless, I encourage you to give it a look, as it does get better over time; if you've never encountered this story, now's as great a time as any to catch up!
What a terrible night for a curse... delve into BloodLust here.
I hope you all enjoy and look forward to the Greatest Hits Writing BonanzaTM as much as I do! I'll see you in a week or so with a new chapter and an update to the roster.
Much love,
TMB
Correction: I'll probably just make a new blog post every time one of these comes out, just so everyone won't have to check back repeatedly.
