I'll be banned from the site again

Due to, of course, more transphobia and disagreeing with site-majority opinions, I have been informed that I will be kicked off the site permanently starting tomorrow. I have prepared a farewell message in the comments below.

    Happy Easter!

And to those who don't celebrate Easter, too bad, I'm going to impose it on you. Happy Easter. Jesus Christ died for you too, and because He rose from the dead, so can we all.

Fluttershy and the Lava Demon: A Tale of Friendship

My first AI art post. It isn't my art, since a computer for Bing generated it, but I had to share. And I always follow a strict "lacerate-demons-on-the-spot-with-a-shotgun-and-chainsaw" policy, but I can make an exception for this one.

    Artificial Intelligence

"Bradybunch, everyone's already given their opinions on it!" Yeah, I know. But before I left the site for two years for a mission, AI was barely cohesive enough to give slurred and static-like voice replication, nonsensical chatbots, and meaningless swirls of shape and color for art. Then, all of a sudden, AI got really good, so I had to try it out. I'm using Bing's AI image generation, which is

    LOTR will never be equaled.

I was thinking about it while playing Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. (My brother gifted them to me for my birthday.) And honestly, the more I reflected on it, the more it made sense. There's a few things that compare in literary achievement, like Dune, but it never made it into modern public consciousness until, like, three years ago. And besides, LOTR wasn't just popular or good-- it

News of the Day · 9:48pm Jul 17th, 2021

I was at my little sister's Eagle Scout project, which was creating a woodshed for a campsite they regularly use. I was chopping wood in an axeyard--very based--but soon after the project started, I swung the axe down and it deflected off the side of the piece of wood and into my foot.

Nothing was cut. There wasn't any blood. But every step I took, for hours afterwards, hurt like heck. Examining the toe, I saw it was blue and swollen and stiff. It's broken, most likely.

I had to mostly sit out of the activity. I was benched, probably because I suck, consuming a ton of the refreshments we had brought. I did the typical first aid stuff: applying ice, keeping the foot elevated, praying, and, of course, hauling a wheelbarrow around. I just wanted to help out.

The day was really hot. For hours we were outside working a lot, and hydration was a really key factor. Until the skies took care of that. It started to suddenly rain. And rain and rain, so hard and so ferociously that it almost blew away the portable shade tent we had brought. Lightning cracked across the skies like a whip, drowning out all other sounds. Water flooded down and soaked everything to the bone. Torrents ran down the cars.

Of course, since I was resting in the car, I was pretty safe. The rest of my family and the workers were still outside managing the best they could. I felt bad for them, since I certainly didn't want to be out there. But at the same time, I didn't want to just give up my spot in the car. That'd be wasteful, stupid, and wouldn't do anyone any good.

In any case, I'm at the ER now, the woodshed is done, and things are progressing nicely. If I happen to die or something, come to my funeral. If you know any Fortnite dances, be sure to do them over my body.

Edit: So apparently, nothing's broken. It hurts, but it's not broken. And we're getting dinner afterwards. So we got that going for me. Which is nice.

Here’s to hoping you fully recover, Brady.

Ouch... now I know that HAD to hurt:twilightoops:.

I know it had to hurt too, if that's any consolidation.

An unlucky turn of events if I do say so myself... I'll be rooting for your recovery!

Hurt yourself doing manual labor and found a way to keep helping anyway?
Welcome to being a man:yay:

Seriously though, take care of yourself.
Stay off the foot: respect your limits.

Thanks for the advice. And the validation. Hope you're doing okay.

Good lord, Brady. Glad you and your toe are okay.

Oh boy Brady. Watch where you swing the axe. Don’t need you axing yourself off… hehehe…

I once smashed my little toe into some smooth metal and it somehow cut the tip of it at about a quarter of the way (I actually did that twice in the period of two weeks) and while it did bleed all over the place it didn't really hurt as much as I thought it would.

...What?
