Tornado

I am literally at this moment in an area under a tornado alert. The rain is nearly horizontal.. Quite a sight I must say. Here I was trying to write and suffering power dips instead. Haha. The city of Barrie has already suffered severe damage from this. We are far elsewhere, but the rainfall is terrifically intense regardless. What fun

You alright? Was there a touch down?

Went through one of those once. Difference was I was in an area that didn't get them and we only got warning when my cell phone got signal so could receive an alert....as I lived in an RV park with spotty cell service.

Got to spend a lovely hour with a dozen other residents and one random driver from the road inside a laundry room as it was the only solid structure in the area. Place was shaking heavily from the thunder as we tracked a touch down a few miles away with our phones.

Fun times.

We seem to have survived. Haha. Like 25mm of rain though so everything is still totally drenched. Confirmed as an EF-2 actually hit Barrie, winds hitting 210 km/h. Multiple injuries over there, lots of damage. Guess we got off light despite the intensity here
