    Happy New Year!

So, it's the end of this blasted year already? I'd say I'm happy to let it go and welcome a new, hopefully better year, but in all honesty, a part of me knows it's probably going to go downhill. Things don't sort themselves out, that's for sure.

    Updates and Support

    Sup' everybody.

Updates been kind of slow these past days, mostly due to mobilisation in my country making me kinda nervous, but fret not, for I am still working on 'Mortem Obire' as well as my other stories.

In other news, you can now support me if you feel inclined to, rest assured that any and all help will be greately appreciated.

    Older Works

Hey there everybody, hope yall are having a fantastic morning/day/evening/endless black voide where time has lost all meaning.

My older stories were somewhat cringe-inducing imo, but I'd love if some of you check some of my older stuff out, for example:

Hello there! I'd like to say thank you to everyone who's been enjoying XCOM: Second Front and giving me feedback, you're all appreciated. I've been meaning to ask this for some time now, and have finally found the time to do so.

Does my writing feel dry to anyone? Maybe not exactly dry, but... wrong somehow.

I like what i've written so far, don't get me wrong, but it feels a little forced when i read it.

Nevertheless, thanks for all the support!!

I don't feel like that way, more that it is tricky to follow what is Happening

5554767
Can you give me an example?

5554771
Well, Maybe i read too fast but in the latest chapter, i struggled a bit to understand what is Happening

I have no idea what dry text would look like... :rainbowhuh:

From my perspective it does feel forced but... i am bad at names and none of the OCs have had the screen time needed for me to remember them. If she hadn't brought up shooting the unicorn I would not of made the connection that they were in the last chapter. In fact they might have been present in each operation.

A similar situation happens in the game. I don't start thinking "Miss King is the one i need at the back" it is instead "The Pink one needs to stay in the back". The reason she needs to stay in the back is she flunked marksmanship (low aim) but has the highest will and is lucky to obtain support class. Lucy King was intend to be a sacrifice during a mission when both A and B teams were in recovery. Now she's 6th on A...

There isn't a whole lot of advice beyond "keep going" as i can tell you from experience that once you stop it is 10x harder to start back up.

Thanks, i definently intend to keep going, i thought that the OC'S were a bit too bland... And yes, the two soldiers were both on the two missions as a part of Strike One.

I know slowly moving into position isn’t thrilling but perhaps lengthen out the operations slightly. A good opportunity to build tension, inner thoughts, short description maybe.

Shouldn’t be done every time though (that will just slow things down)
