    I will return to G5

    Hey, guys. Mr. J here.

Just so you're aware, I am planning to return to MLP G5: both watching Tell Your Tale and Make Your Mark. Now, I don't remember if I ever told you all about this, but I did inform some of y'all that I've given up hope for G5 because the episodes I watched around that time (two years ago) were so forgettable and boring.

11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
8/10–a great film with numerous flaws but not enough to ruin it

6/10—a slightly above average film; it is something I might watch again
5/10—mediocre movie; not awful but not great either
4/10—a below average film; it could have been much better
3/10—a bad film; poorly written and poorly executed
2/10—a very bad movie; the few good things in the movie overshadowed by the bad things
1/10—a terrible movie; a total waste of time
0/10—a worthless piece of abomination; should have never been made

Greetings, everyone! This is Mr. J back with another movie review! This afternoon, I will be reviewing one of the most under-appreciated and less known comedy movies of all time: Hitch. I remember watching the trailer for this movie all the way back when I was a kid. I don’t remember how many times I watched the trailer for this, but it is so full of humorous moments the trailer showed which made me smile a lot. That was most likely the first time I’ve seen Will Smith on screen prior to 2005. Alas, I never got the chance to watch the film as a kid and even after so many years.

It wasn’t until last week I was fully able to watch the film for myself for the first time ever. And throughout the whole time watching the movie... I found myself laughing and having a great time. This film is absolutely wonderful as it is filled with hilarious characters, sweet romance, great story-writing, and drama. Will Smith really outdid himself in this.

Not only was Will Smith amazing as the titular character, but also the acting performances of Eva Mendes, Kevin James, and Amber Valletta were great. Those four people stood out the most to me throughout the movie. Hitch and Albert were my favorite characters in this because of their dynamic relationship and how they had to solve their problems with their love lives.

Even Hitch is shown to have flaws and insecurities of his own despite the number of answers and solutions he gave to other men as to how to win a woman’s affection. That goes to show that we ourselves need to take our own advice and discover for ourselves how we can cope with whatever trial we face and how we must deal with our own issues.

This film had so many funny moments I can’t even put my finger down as to which one was funnier. One example would be the part where Hitch was showing Albert how to properly dance which the latter got carried away with extreme dancing styles. Hence Hitch’s best line in the entire movie:

Love that scene! 🤣

Overall, this was a great film to watch, and I deeply regret not watching it years ago with my dad since he also loved this film’s trailer (and most likely watched this film by himself). I definitely recommend this to anyone who admires Will Smith’s acting or any comedy film in general. I give this a 9/10!

Peace out!

“Hitch” is one of my favorite movies too. It has incredibly innocent humor and comedic-timings, and the performers were awesome in the roles they were playing.
