... So, it's been a while!

Just dug up this old account to see what I used to write before I got too self-conscious about it, and I realized I never finished half the longfics I wanted to get through back in the day. Still haven't read through most of Fallout: Equestria, so that's on my new list... Never finished the Hard Reset series, gotta do that one too. Little things like that.

It's been a few years since I've really thought about this franchise beyond just "oh yeah, I liked that as a preteen". Now it's 2021, I'm an adult, and a few conversations with friends led me to take a nostalgia dive.

I seriously doubt I'm going to write anything in the old "books" from here on out, but... Maybe. I haven't written much, despite my efforts to get back into it, mainly because I'm a perfectionist (blame it partially on the aggressive Mary Sue hate back when I was more active, but, also, I just don't like to disappoint people); if I were going to use any project for lazy practice, it would probably be those. I've forgotten what my plan was for The Breaking Point and Everfree, but Fairy Tales was more open-ended, intended to be fluff. Seeing as I haven't caught up with the show in half a decade, that might be an easy way to work with a POV character who's just as confused as I am.

... Also, I need to change my icon. Maybe I'll draw something? Not sure yet. Gotten a lot better at visual art over the years, so if I do try to pick up writing on this account again, I can draw my own covers. (By the way, just want to point out that cover art is and has always been one of the main things about this site that stood out to me as a bonus point over other archives.)

Gonna clear out most of my library, gonna leave all the old groups, so on, so forth... That way, I'll have a blank slate, and might be able to avoid some of what scared me off as a kid. We'll see how that goes.

I don't expect anyone to read this, just sorta using it as a public diary or to-do list.
