It accrued to me that all of the minecraft dimensions have bosses. That are wholly unique entities, the end has the ender dragon. The nether has the wither. But what does the overworld have. I personally think the boss mob of the overworld is the player.
The ender dragon is the only dragon in the game and can only be respawned through a ritual.
The wither is made entirely out of material from the nether and can only be respawned through a ritual
And the player is the only being that can actually use the various ores and mob drops into the game, and is one of the only three entities that can respawn.
What do you all think of this?
Edit: If hard-core is taken into consideration the respawn argument does need some changing.
That could simply be the player also has a respawning ritual. But that is pointless as there is noone left to preform it.
The endgame credits also add to my theory, it is very clear insinuated the player is a being of some importance. what the player actually is, is one of the things that are glitches out.
