So, what if Equestria's Sun is actually a tiny white dwarf? This one is just a little larger than our Moon, and would be a perfect size to be able to pull around a planet in a tight orbit.

Though, that makes Celestia still exceedingly powerful... she's tossing a star around that's incredibly dense and massive, with an immense magnetic and gravitational field.

Well according to Lauren Faust, Celestia can also control other stars, like the ones that aligned for Nightmare Moon's release. She's pretty friggin' powerful, I would not count her out against Goku just yet.

You just talked about a magical star that can be more heavy than a dwarf star. I feel absurd is a word that has lost it's meaning from quite a while in the world of fictional characters that could whoop Celestia, and Goku is among them.
Now, it may be possible for Celestia to beat Goku using spells, but even then is quite the stretch.
Then we have to take into consideration that Xeno Goku may be even MORE powerful than Super Goku, who was capable to fight off someone who had the power to erase HISTORY itself.
