Ideas for the Gentleman for Mares Universe · 3:34pm Dec 4th, 2012
With the specific invite of letting any author who likes the universe for Gentlemen for Mares to write their own Spin-off of the story, this blog here is going to put forth stories I discovered so far, and also discuss possible ideas for the spin-offs.
The former will come later. The latter, though, so far the ideas I gathered are from a lot of readers, who are either planning on making a story, or just putting out cool theories and story planning. It could either be clop with either different Gentlemen or other escorts from different companies, and also doesn't have to be a Pony Company, or have them sleeping only with mares (Coatlus advised of Gentlemen for Gentlecolts).
The presence of tech or engineers working in Equestria is also another interesting bit, as right now, human technology is changing Equestria. Harry mentioned they have fridges or telephones. What else could be brought out?
Diabolical Gnome mentioned of another interesting idea... why not explore the hidden side of the company G4Ms? A human who is part of the logistic responsibilities (arranging carriages, maybe even restaurants really ahead of time)? An important, but not yet quite in the front line of the business.
Or even tourists? Why limit to escorts or engineers? Why not explore the world of Equestria with a passport? Or heck, go for something like Bourne or James Bond. xD
As for the fics I've found so far....
Schmuck for Mares - A parody, using another escort company (that isn't too well funded). I found it really funny. It is about the misadventures of an escort who is hired by Derpy. No clop.
The Chase Files - A variation of the G4Ms universe. Not strictly set where Harry / Wingman is, but explores the world where the portal first appeared, after discovering the Ponies of Equestria. It follows the adventures of an English Detective hired by Fancy Pants to solve a case in Equestria. The premise is interesting, though I have suggested the author to see if he can get proof-readers, and I'm wondering if anyone was interested to help.

Anyways, I'd like to see that one about the support position, and what happens when they have a life, and perhaps a marefriend of their own, to complicate things. After all, there's nothing more tempting in a relationship to use connections at your company to try wrangling a five-star restaurant for an evening... and it's just once, right?

I meant that in general, if you ever need any OCs or places designed, I'm really good at it. Balanced, weak, or OP, I can make any type of OC or race, and my places can be anything from monothematic to complex, and in a wide variety of genres.

576791 I was only really thinking of AJ...and mainly only for the awkwardness from their first meeting. I'd probably skate around the rest entirely since it would only be a cliche to actually have him meet them all in turn. Hell I would even have AJ go as far as going to Canterlot to the "home office" for a meeting with a Gentleman so Rarity and Dash don't find out.In her efforts to be treated like a girl she can even try to turn her accent into a more "southern belle" accent and try dressing a bit fancy ...ohhhh I can just imagine how bad the evening could start off. See that way the rest of the six are cut off from the story and you can still write something very fun. Hell, that chapter doesn't even need to involve any sex really.

Like I said, we'll see. Who knows, Harry may know them, but not quite how its usually portrayed. It could even be evenly spread between chapters, to avoid the whole mess.

Why not just take the general setting. So far, from what I've seen in Animal Husbandry, there's no actual explanation where the ponies actually came from. >.> Well, the cloning thing may kinda get in the way, but like I said to a lot of people, they don't have to strictly set it in my verse.
