As you have probably heard by now, a user by the name of PRINCESS CADENCE left a suicide note on their blog:

While reading the note, something caught my eye:
The moderators have done a good job of enforcing the rules when I'm attacked by users with fewer than 20 followers, but if I'm ever attacked by someone with over 100 followers (let alone 1,000), they make excuses as to why these users' actions don't break the site rules, despite me showing them exactly what rules the users have broken.
See, this is why I'm very disillusioned with morality. What's the point in having rules if they ain't going to be enforced? Though, because I don't want to get banned, I have no choice to continue following the rules.
Now, this is not the first time very little action was taken when it comes to users being attacked by other users. In at least one or two threads in the Shameless Self-Promotion Bureau, I have seen the OP of that thread being treated with scorn despite not breaking any rules. Do the users attacking that one user get (at least temporarily) banned? Usually not.
Anyway, I'm gonna go offer this person some words of encouragement and hope that it's not too late. You're welcome to do the same.
One of the main attackers was one of the same people who avoided a ban despite advocating violence in the Aryanne debacle last year. I've highlighted this connection in my report of their blog; we'll see if this kicks any sense into the mods at what their methods have wrought.
The problem was that this person seems to support the contents of the story they were writing. Child and adult relationships which are not okay at all. And while there were a lot of death threats, there were also a lot of people expressing concern that the user took personal as hate. But yes, there were a lot of people giving them death threats which I'm not okay with even if they have this mindset that is clearly not okay. They need help. They do not need to die.

Concern in the form of "get help, you're a horrible person for having these thoughts and need your mind fundamentally altered"? Yeah, that's why they committed suicide. Not the death threats; the dehumanization of their mental state as intrinsically evil. They know full well, as most people do, that you can't just change how you think. So their option, as presented by people like you, is "remain a morally reprehensible person, or commit suicide". They can't purify their thoughts the way you want them to. That's not how minds work, and the sooner you can understand that, the fewer people you'll irreparably harm for similar "righteous" reasons.

I do understand that. I get that this a mental problem that they have and can't easily be changed. All I'm saying is that this person needs to get help rather than kill themselves due to the death threats they are receiving.
To be honest, I feel like you just try to disagree with anything I say.

Again, it wasn't the death threats. It was people like you telling them they're fundamentally wrong in the head. What about this do you not understand? If the vast part of society told you that the way you think is fundamentally immoral, would you just feel fine and dandy as long as nobody threatened you with actual violence?

Yeah because it is wrong. From a moral standpoint and legal standpoint. We cannot lie to them and say otherwise. But rather than just say it's hopeless and that there forever damned to live with this existent, we can also be optimistic and try to help them find a way to get through it and better themselves so they can get out of it and live a healthy stable life.

There is a difference between liking the same sex and wanting to be in a sexual relationship with a CHILD.
Also, I never said they can't write or post stories like that. I wrote stories that involve rape. I am a huge supporter of free speech and non-censored. I've even said on my own YouTube channel that people like this are allowed to say things like that even if it's morally wrong or it disgusting. However, people can respond without giving hate.

Of course there's a difference. Do you have any evidence that they were actually in a literal relationship with a child? Or are you a horrific hypocrite who apparently writes rape but thinks it's fine to say that writing something equivalent is "morally wrong" and "disgusting".

I'm not saying they ever were. I'm saying if they believe that a child-adult relationships are okay, they need help. I did write a rape story but I never once ever stated that it was okay to rape people.
