On August 19, 2021, Rainbow Factory (the story) celebrates 10 years of existence. Over two million views that I can estimate from the various places it's been hosted online as readings or copies (The original GDocs had 1m before it was removed!). Thousands of pictures, dozens of songs and endless remixes of those... It's been a wild ride.
I posted a couple months back a question asking what to do, and I'm excited to tell you all that I have plans.
I have a new story written that I think you'll all enjoy, ready for publishing.
I have physical copies of the series prepped for sale.
I have new merch available with a savings event attached to it.
And I have a writing contest planned.
If you're interested in supporting a prize pool with money or art, please feel free to get in touch with me. I have an amount set aside already, but more incentives could really go a long way. Wouldn't it be nice to just cover Fimfiction with Rainbow Factory? =P

Congratulations on the 10 years. I remember reading the google doc version I read it on 2011-09-14 (I used to log fics i had read in a spreadsheet)
It was one of the 1st Grimdark fics I ever read and I couldn't get enough of it. It really started my love for darker fics. I didn't know (i only recently returned to fimfic) there were physical copies. I certainly will need to buy these.

There aren't/haven't been physical copies yet! They'll be available once the new story (which is included in the published version) is released.

RF and Cupcakes were some of the stories that contributed to me beginning to watch the show back in 2014. That people could write such blood-soaked stories about a children's show, there had to be something to bring that attention to it, right? So then I checked it out. Seven-plus years, a successful YouTube channel for pony narrations, and a whole five BronyCons attended in Rainbow Factory cosplay later, here I am. Thank you Aurora.

Most recent iteration of the costume from the BronyCon 2019 Photobooth. Dr. Hide Atmosphere, at your service. Added on much, much more compared to the first photograph. Carried around a folder containing schematics for the Pegasus Device and a photograph of Absentia. Syringes strapped to the arm and some test tubes with orange and purple-colored liquids in them (implications should speak for themselves.) hooked onto the belt. Shirt was custom-made with the logo and everything.

Regular ones. I'm blind without them lol. That they complemented the costume so well was just a bonus. And I mean, really, what self-respecting mad scientist doesn't have glasses?
