The only Canterlot Wedding fixfic I'll ever write · 11:19pm Jun 21st, 2021

"What was wrong with all of you? Why did you treat me like that?"

"We had our periods."

"...what?"

"All of us. Every last mare. Rough ones, too."

"Really. At the same time."

"Well, that's Cadance."

"...sorry?"

"Princess Of Love. Trapped in a dungeon? Still radiates magic. And if she ain't gettin' any, nopony's gettin' any."

Twilight Sparkle vs. Aunt Flo: This Time It’s Personal.

"But wait, what about me? I felt completely fine!"

This has the potential to turn from a really nice comedy to a really fucked up tragedy with one line. At first, I intended that line to be funny, but there were only two possibilities I could think of, and neither of them were funny in the slightest.

It's Twilight Sparkle. Instinctive countermagic.

They aren't all deep.

I was mentally going with "Trans Twilight Sparkle," but tbh that works too

So, wait, you're saying that the reason why the girls were jerks and didn't believe Twilight was because they were cranky AF? :pinkiegasp:

Also, don't equines go through Estrus?

Twilight Sparkle: The Princess of the Friendzone

Every relationship she will have in life will be just as friends

Most bronies are guys. It's possible.

Cadence truly is the most powerful, most terrifying princess.

"But wait, what about me? I felt completely fine!"

I mean, it wasn't exactly Twilight's finest moment either...

Why 'DIY chromosome tests' were a very short biology lesson fad.

Too many kids getting the 'wrong' results, and then having to explain it...

I would read complete if was Spike or Shining Armor the ones who would suffer the mare attacks.

Your version of Luna and Celestia going through PMS...

You have given me this thought, and now the world must suffer it as well.

I see a Red M story on the horizon. Title: "Red Wings of Desire"

Yeah, kinda. Who the hay demands a wedding be canceled because the bride didn't want to eat hors d'oeuvre?

...This raises many questions. I am not entirely sure how many I want answered.

(Ah, though I see the "Why not Twilight too?" one was already addressed in the comments. In multiple ways, in fact.)

seems legit

Makes sense. Cadence was her foalsitter.

Well, that explains how they beat the everloving bejesus out of all those changelings.

Hmm, so my headcanon that Cadance's orgasms have an area of effect may be true.

Celestia is almost certainly post-menopause. Even if that's not normally a thing for ponies, she's so much older that she gets to end up an exception.

Um, Estee? You DO know that only humans and a few other species menstruate, right? Or am I missing the joke here?

Ponies don't talk, fly, or use magic. Shhh.

somehow this reminded me of an episode of that silly "Hercules" TV show called "love takes a holiday".
Aphrodite decides to try to do something different, so, in her words, "men still want it, but women couldn't care less!"

I will never stop pointing out that Disney Hercules absolutely did the research and then decided to mostly ignore it. Another good example is that "I am retired" is in fact two words in the Greek that they're theoretically speaking.

For real though, women were considered the lustful ones back then, that was the entire joke of Lysistrata.

oh, i just remembered:
a book called "chicks in chainmail", with a bunch of "amazon comedy" stories.
one story involves a village where all the men had left on a mission, leaving only women.
the village then gets attacked by a tribe of barbarians...
BUT, partly because ALL the womens were having their periods, the women won!
