Griff walked into his house, exhausted after a long night shift at work. "Kids! I'm home!"

"Dad!" Ocellus rushed up to him, carrying a bag. Pharynx, Thorax, Apex, and Metamorphosis were behind her, Vespyr in Meta's hooves.

Griff chuckled as his daughter hugged him, and hugged back. "What've you got there, Cellus?"

Ocellus smiled and gave it to him. "You remember what day it is, right?"

"Oh, uh... sorry Cellus, I'm pretty out of it... it's not my birthday, is it? Arbor day? Juneteenth? Shoot, did I forget a changeling thing?"

"Heh, Griffy, don't be silly." Metamorphosis trotted over, kissing him on the cheek and slipping Vespyr into his hooves. "Today is fathers day."

"It... it is?"

"Of course! And we want to spend it with you, dad!"

"Happy fathers day dad." Pharynx said, and Griff blushed.

"Well, thanks kids... but what about Meta? And Thorax and Pharynx are dads too, aren't they? They've got Apex and... Hero..."

"That's why we want to spend Father's day all together!" Ocellus explained, hugging him. "Open your present."

Griff shrugged and opened it, pulling out a pair of sunglasses and swimming trunks, along with a new suit. "Huh?"

"We're going to go to the beach, then later tonight, we're going to watch Vespyr while you and papa go out to a nice restaurant!"

"Aww, kids...thank you so much..."

"The'es a card in i' too!" Apex pointed at the bag, and Griff chuckled, pulling the card out.

It was clearly drawn by Apex and Vespyr, since it was just stick figures that were meant to represent them each (judging by the names above each one). Griff opened the card, which read "Happy Father's Day, Gran'pa Griffy!" in sloppy handwriting. It was signed by Apex, and there was a tiny little hoofprint on it.

"I show'ded Vespy how to sign i'!" Apex explained, pointing at the hoofprint.

"I love it, you two, thank you." Griff said, hugging Apex and Vespyr tightly.

The others all crowded around, hugging him. Griff smiled, hugging back.
