You’ve seen my least favorites, you’ve seen the mixed feelings tier, now we shall be looking at my favorite ships.
Tirek x Chrysalis: These two are the only villains who seem like the best match for each other, they have a lot of chemistry and yes I know they aren’t actually in love but I’d they were to become canon I can see them bonding over their defeats and how much they hate Twilight.
Pinkie Pie x Cheese Sandwich: These two are great together, and their chaotic natures balance each other out perfectly, plus bonus both actually get together in the end.
Shining Armor x Cadence: These two are the embodiment of love in Equestria, yes I know most of you prefer Twilight with Cadence but I feel Shining Armor is better for Cadence, in their debut episode they do prove their love for each other, especially with that love beam they used against Chrysalis. I also love their connection together.
Sugar Belle x Big Mac: While the two have their ups and downs, I love them together, they had a great beginning despite Big Mac trying to kiss her while she’s asleep but he does make up for it, an exciting middle where Big Mac learns to talk to Sugar Belle about their problems instead of assuming and a perfect ending where they get married.
Spike x Gabby: What? A Spike ship that isn’t Sparlight, oh we’ll be getting to that later but first we must talk about this one. Despite only having one episode together, it’s clear Spike and Gabby really care about each other and have a great bond. Plus when the two stop being friends they clearly are heartbroken, maybe a bit too heartbroken. The two also have a lot of chemistry, I dare say it might surpass Sparlight but as of now it doesn’t.
Maud x Mudbrair: Like Pinkie and Cheese they have a lot in common and their personalities mesh very well but there’s one Maud ship I like more but who could possibly top Mudbrair. Well...
Starlight x Maud: Only Starlight could surpass Mudbrair in terms of Maud ships. As for why I love this ship. These two seem to have a great connection and they had like no problems whatsoever in their friendship. Plus they have a lot of chemistry.
Spike x Starlight: Yes I know some of you will disagree but I feel Spike is old enough, now onto why I love the ship. I feel the two have a really genuine bond in the series and the two seem to trust each other a lot. Plus it feels wholesome, but I’m also okay with them just being friends.
Twilight x Starlight: Finally the greatest, the best, the one and only TwiStar. It is my favorite for so many reasons. The two have a lot of chemistry and are so cute together and are so wholesome whenever they are on screen together. Twilight was always there for Starlight even when she was “evil” she still made an effort to reach out to her and when Starlight did reform she made an effort to help her out when in all honesty if she wanted to she could’ve sent her flank to Tartarus but she didn’t. And to be honest out of all the reformed villains Twilight seems to be the closest with Starlight. Also the two have shown to care about each other many times. I dare say they have as much gay energy in the show as Starlight and Trixie which is a lot.

I can get why you like Spike x Gabby: I'll go for it since it is pairing him with something other than a pony. Both are younger, both ACT younger and they did develop a bond in Dragon Dropped. That's all it takes for me, ship him with something other than a pony and you've got my vote. I don't ship either so yeah, ship them together.
I do agree with you on Twilight and Starlight, particularly with the gay energy. I'll be honest, I think they've hugged more than any other pair of friends in the whole series. I've often thought, "Just kiss already!" You know you want to!
Starlight and Trixie is my favorite Starlight ship but I'll be honest, the more I think about it a marriage between Twilight and Starlight would be far more stable.
Tirek x Chrysalis i don’t think had many moments where they had chemistry except for that one episode.
Pinkie Pie x Cheese Sandwich I could get behind.
Shining Armor x Cadence I can understand. Although, I don’t think I remember cadence being shipped with twilight.
Sugar Belle x Big Mac I could understand.
If spike and gabby had more episodes together, then I may consider it.
Maud x Mudbrair I can understand because they’re basically a duller version of pinkie pie x cheese sandwich.
Starlight x Maud I feel like would be kinda awkward because of how opposite they are from eachother.
I feel like if spike and starlight had more episodes together, then I may be able to ship it.
Twilight x Starlight I feel like is somewhat similar to twilight x celestia, and that kinda makes me uncomfortable.
