I've only did two paragraphs and it seems like I couldn't have the motivation for people to be invested. If you read the description, it's mostly how Zam's feelings is just like mine in real life when it comes to depression. Here's what the two paragraphs I wrote.
In the cabin, up north in the forest with other cabins yards away, Zam just came home after a day in middle school. Today is his thirteenth birthday but he had little to celebrate with his friends, especially how exhausted he was. When he walked up to the front porch, he opened the door and noticed that his parents weren't saying happy birthday to him.
“How was school, kiddo?” His father asked while reading the newspaper.
For me personally, I couldn't think of a way to start off this story while trying to come up ideas for characters to make an appearance. And the sad thing is, I don't even know how the story is gonna be like when Zam enters the expansive universe. So many characters to look through, so many stressful elements to keep track on.
I don't understand why doing this fanfic was a good idea but by the end of this day or tomorrow, I might scrape it entirely and just try to finish my Halloween story that I'm also having trouble writing on. All in all, please tell what you think about the crossover itself because it seems you're not the interested.
