I'm back.
It's been a few years.
You know, the first thing I did when I logged in? I checked the clopfics group.
Still an admin, after all these years.

Some things changed since I left. The site has a discord now. That's cool I guess.
I liked the IRC. It was a smaller community. Everybody knew everyone else.
I logged into it and there were 5 people online including myself. Xaq is still there. At least there was one familiar face.
The discord is huge. So many different channels, over a thousand members, hardly any names I recognize.
I checked my favorites, my read later tabs.
Most stories are incomplete, abandoned in 2017-2018. About the same time I left.
I think the next thing I'm gonna do is check on all my favorite authors, see how many are still active.
One piece of good news, I'm not suicidal anymore. My 'cure' was a 50/50 mix of getting out of a shitty situation and embracing nhilism. It's hard to be depressed when you stop caring about things that make you upset.
I really hope nobody thought I killed myself when I disappeared.
@ZaRaapini, I'm really sorry for ghosting you, especially after we finally met up in person. I was a fucking emotional mess at the time. I'm never really gonna forgive myself for never contacting you again. Still thinking about you.

Yeah, it was totally burnout. And depression, which basically caused the burnout.
Most things are going pretty well! I'm 31 now which means i have to deal with old people problems like my back hurting, but other than that I'm pretty happy with life.
Coming back here makes me remember how NOT happy with life I was back in 2016, but it's more of a sad nostalgia than anything serious.
I wanna start reading stories again, and chatting with friends, and FINALLY finish the fucking series.
I think I'm still on season 5, lol.

Been married and now separated. Have 2 kids. Haven't written since last year (though I do want to finish my lingering stories).
I stream on Twitch now. I personally think MLP ended quite nicely (though people seem to either love it or hate it). New MLP
is coming this Autumn on Netflix.
Um, what else? I don't know how most of the 'old timers' are doing on the site. People come, people go.
I don't do much anymore other than just check the site once a day.
