Still can't quite wrap my head around leaving the house after this last year we've had, let alone flying across the country to a convention of thousands of people, but I figure I've bought the nonrefundable plane tickets so it's as real as it's gonna get.
EFNW announced that (based on everything known at this time about COVID in WA) they'll be holding the con in person, not virtually (even though -- as it stands -- none of the currently announced Guests of Honor can attend in person).
I had planned to go last year before the world went to hell, and all my stuff for it rolled over to this year, so with their staff saying it's happening, I went ahead and booked my flight.
Anyone else planning on going? I've never done an EFNW -- really interested to see "the writer's con"!
I'll be there! Really looking forward to it after two years.
Aww darn. The one in-person con that’s happening and I either have to choose possibly attending or heading back for junior year of university based on those dates.

Canada has some of the weirdest lockdown rules on the planet. Hopefully, some sanity will slip in.
