And I lost all of it.
So ya don't expect anything for the next couple of days.
Add in the fact that I'm down with mono.....

May I inquire to exactly how you lost it?
569838 I write most of my stuff on this sight, so I can make use of the things like font color and such, and I hit the refresh button on the tab by mistake, and I had not saved in a while so it went from like 3,000+ words to like 360. Bad habit I know, now I'm writing in Google Dox. since it saves every time you touch the keyboard.

Out of curiosity, why not use Microsoft word or a similar software? Or do you try to refrain from having incriminating evidence on your computer?
570360 Don't have the activation codes for my word on this PC, getting a laptop with it though. I do have open office but Google Dox. is easier because all my pre-readers use it.

Oh? Do you have a better idea? TELL ME YOUR SECRETS O-MASTER OF THE INTERNET! GUIDE US IN YOUR HOLY WAYS SO WE MAY FOLLOW IN EXAMPLE AND NOT FALL PREY TO THE DEMONS AT MICROSOFT.
I still think Microsoft word is great software.

You didn't answer my quessstionnnnn....
575648 LibreOffice. There is a feature comparison (LO 3.6/MS Office 2010) available here.

ok... lets go through this.
Cross-platform availability - Yeah... I'm quite sure this author doesn't use linux, so that doesn't matter.
Portable version that runs on USB flash disks - Unless he writes this over multiple computers, it doesn't matter.
Open Source - Someone like me might care; Someone like our good ol author here? I doubt.
Full integration of all office components - I'm not sure what this is even trying to prove.
Availability free of charge - Ok... you got me here, but that's what torrents are for after all.
Eco-system of extensions - Once more, who the hell cares? This doesn't effect our good man, the author in the slightest.
Localization - Most of the known world, including our fine author uses English.
Changing language of the user interface on the fly - See previous comment.
Additional writing aids - I question the validity of this information, MSWord has all of these.
Support of complex languages and special font features - Don't effect our sexy author.
Easy access to vector clip art - Doesn't matter, since pictures would have to be entered manually anyway, once you post on this site.
Macro scripting languages - No one gives flying fuck...
Support of ISO standardized OpenDocument - I highly doubt dear author writes on a smartphone.
Yeah... I'm not going to even bother with the rest. Granted your proposed browser has more 'features'. However, our sexy, sexy, author has no need for them. Yes, it would be better to have something and not need it rather than need something and not have it, but keep in mind that less features also tends equals better performance.

p.s. what the hell is going down in your avatar? I could not make any sense of it.
578630>>578395 Ok you two, impending flame war over. All ready had one on something I wrote, don't want another.

578681 If you wanna get technical you were both winning. So lets take a moment to remember all those hurt emotions over the last ten minutes with a sad song.
578630 >stuff
That's just, like, your opinion, man
>Macro scripting languages - No one gives flying fuck
I agree with you on this one
>less features also tends equals better performance
So does less Microsoft
578681 False. Internet arguments can not be won
